Our Virtual Christmas Lights Tour in far south Austin, TX
[click here to skip the narrative and go directly to the pix]Several neighborhoods in Austin (south of Hwy 71/Ben White Blvd) have outdone themselves as examples of extravagent lighting. You'll have to drive around to find them, but you won't be disappointed. Begin by going to the corner of Manchaca Road and Stassney Lane, then a little west, then turn north into the neighborhoods. Wander around. When you finish there, turn north on Manchaca Road, then right into the neighborhoods eastward (but still south of Ben White).
Last year, thousands enjoyed the Christmas images here. This year, we have another 40 or so images for your seasonal perusal, bringing the total to over a hundred images. (We think this is the largest collection of Christmas Lights on the Internet.) When you finish looking at the images here, find the link back to our photo page to see more.
