About TAM Membership
Individual Membership
As an individual member of TAM, you receive a multitude of benefits,
including many opportunities to network with fellow museum professionals.
Individual benefits include:
- Fellowship with colleagues. TAM provides many forums for exchange
with colleagues, including its Annual Meeting, workshops, and electronic
newsletter.
- Reciprocal Admissions.
As a TAM member, you'll receive free admission and/or gift shop discounts
from participating institutions. If your institution would like to participate
in the Reciprocal Admissions program, please complete the Reciprocal
Admissions Participant Form.
- TAM's Annual Meeting,
one of the best to be found in the profession, draws over 600 people
from over 80 Texas towns and as many as 17 cities outside Texas.
- Other workshops throughout the year offer opportunities to
focus on a topic vital to museums such as fundraising and collections
care.
- Access to current museum news. TAMALE TAM's quarterly
online newsletter and Museline Online, TAM's monthly online newsletter
featuring timely items of interest. TAM's regional
and affinity groups offer opportunities throughout the year to meet
with colleagues nearby or in related jobs.

Business Membership
As a business member of TAM, you receive a multitude of benefits, including
opportunities to spread the news about your products or services in
the nation's largest state museum association. Business benefits vary
by membership level.
- All membership levels receive the latest museum-related news
and information in TAMALE, TAM's quarterly online newsletter,
and Museline Online, TAM's monthly online newsletter and discounts
on publications and conference/workshop registrations.
- As a Level 1 member ($100), you will receive in addition
to all of the usual benefits, a link on the TAM website business page.
- As a Level 2 member ($150), you will receive the benefits
of Level 1, and a 10% discount on Annual Meeting Exhibit booth.
- As a Level 3 member ($250), you will receive the benefits
of Level 1, a one month display ad (175 x 75 pixel) on the left column
of the TAM web site home page, a 20% discount on an Annual
Meeting Exhibit booth , and one free TAM mailing list.
- As a Level 4 member ($500+), you will receive the benefits
of all previous levels, a 40% discount on an Annual
Meeting Exhibit booth, and one 1/8 page ad in the Annual Meeting
Final Program.
All dues are payable yearly, and membership benefits cover one year
