Online Fundraising Resources

  • Foundation Center - Links to Web sites of nearly 100 private foundations as well as over 50 corporate grant makers, 20 community foundations, and 18 grant-making charities. The Foundation Center also provides descriptions of what kinds of awards each organization makes.
  • Foundations Online - A Directory of Charitable Grant makers. This Web site contains links to many foundation Web sites, including corporate foundation sites. Also includes general fundraising information.
  • Grantsmanship Center - This site lists daily announcements of grants from the Federal Register and Commerce Business Daily as well as sections on arts foundations, community foundations, corporate foundations and donors, associations of grant makers, and private grant makers.
  • Grants Web - Maintained by the Society of Research Administrators, an organization that represents people who seek money to help scientists conduct research, this site has extensive links to private and government sources as well as general information about grants.
  • Sponsored Programs Information Network - Operated by Info Ed International, this services lists more than 7,000 grant announcements from the federal government, foundations, and corporations, as well as some from state governments. The service charges users a fee for information retrieved, and it is updated daily.
  • Who's Who in Federal Grant Management - Lists names, phone numbers, and e-mail links for key contacts in grants management in 25 departments and federal agencies.
