The Verdure au Lac
This finely detailed "Hand-Printed"
Wall Hanging, which translates to "Greenery by the Lake",
stems from the 17th century renaissance period.
It is currently on display at the Mobilier National Museum in
Paris, France.
The beautiful richly colored scene is at once serene and romantic,
with the border adorned by cherubs, culminating with the kissing
pair in the middle of the bottom border.
