What is a dance gypsy?
The denizens of the Usenet newsgroup <rec.folk-dancing> created the following definition for a dance gypsy.
A dance gypsy is someone who frequently spends more time travelling to and from a regularly scheduled contradance than dancing at that dance.
This page is organised by region and day of the week. Another dance gypsy page is organised by day of the week and (eventually) longitude and latitude, or radial distance from the north-easternmost dance venue in the 48 contiguous States, or something equally useful.
