Version 2.15M of my QuickSat prediction program for DOS under Windows
dated Aug. 21, 2006
with an intrinsic magnitudes file dated Jan. 20, 2008.
quicksat.zip
Up to 3000 names may appear in the quicksat.mag file.
Quicksat intrinsic magnitudes file: qsmag.zip (Nov. 16, 2008)
A program that finds all objects that come within a specified time and cross-track distance of an observation. Version 2.0 rejects objects that are clearly inside the Earth's shadow. Version 2.0B prints the range to each object and decards elsets for objects that have decayed. Version 2.0C has checking for a negative argument to square roots in SGP4. Version 2.0D accepts multiple input tle files. (May 6, 2007) findsat.zip
A selection program to select particular objects and add
"line 0" information before each output tle.
xf6.zip (May 9, 2007)
There are input lists for the mccants file and the visual file
on my tles page.
A tle update program to update tles in one file with tles from an update tle file. xf7.zip (Mar. 23, 2007)
A program to read the Spacecom catalog.tle file and discard all tles that have a name containing the string "DEB" with a space before that string. But tles with names containing SPELDA, SYLDA, TANK, DPAF, and COVER will not be discarded. xf9.zip (Oct. 7, 2008)
A program to read the Spacecom catalog.tle file and retain only tles that match the criteria for an "eccentric" orbit. geteccen.zip (Aug. 25, 2007)
Version 2.1 of my program to integrate near-geosynchronous and "12-hour" elsets forward in time with the effect of lunar and solar gravity and the Earth's longitude-dependent terms. This version has a more realistic integration of atmospheric drag. (March 25, 2004) int2.zip
int3 is a numerical integration program for near-geosynchronous objects. (Feb. 13, 2006) int3.zip
A Linux Red Hat executable of my QuickSat prediction program
rhqsat.zip (July, 2005)
This version does not match the DOS version in these options:
It will not accept a line "do you want to store tles in memory".
It will not accept a line "magnitude override file".
Version 2.3K of my Highfly prediction program for DOS under Windows with the Quicksat intrinsic magnitudes file dated Dec. 10, 2006. (Jan. 10, 2007) highfl23.zip
A special version of HighFly generates predictions only when an
object is close to eclipse.
highecl.zip
The output is sorted by azimuth. Sep. 17, 2006.
A program that computes the latitude and longitude of the sub-satellite point. (Feb. 2, 1997) latlong.zip
A program that computes the longitudes of near-geosynchronous satellites and writes them out in sorted order. (Sep. 8, 2008) latlong4.zip
A Linux Red Hat executable of my Highfly prediction program
rhhfly.zip (July, 2005)
This version should match the DOS version.
Many of the zip files for SkyMap 6.6 by Rob Matson that are stored on the "wayback" machine (archive.org) cannot be retrieved properly. When retrieval fails, the zip file has lost the last byte of the file. If you need a copy of SkyMap 6.6, please send me email (mmccants at this site).
