Bloominghouse Literary is led by its agent and director, C.S. McCulloch, with the conviction that literary representation can be tailored to the individual needs, concerns and development of authors. With this in mind, publication in the best available market--not mere publication alone--coupled with foresighted contractual negotiation on the author's behalf are the standards by which the agency measures its performance. The affairs of the agency are determined by C.S. McCulloch bolstered by a group of additional readers--an infrastructure which is dedicated to discovering new authors, retaining old friends, and insuring that each author is comfortable with the representational strategy chosen to further the author's career. We actually enjoy working with our writers. Bloominghouse employs no reading fees, charges a 15% domestic commission (which is standard), and abides by the Code of Ethics and Television Packaging Disclosure Statement of the Association of Author's Representatives. Personal Background: C.S. McCulloch (Clint) is a literary agent and attorney educated at Georgetown University, the University of Texas School of law, and Oxford University. Earning a livelihood as a literary agent allows him to harness his love for books and the book business.
