Anthony Wanger
President and Founder
Anthony Wanger serves as President of IO. In this capacity, Wanger directs the Company's expansion and acquisition activities, oversees key transactions and the Company's Legal, HR, Security, and Risk Management functions. Wanger has lead IO's DCaaS expansion and development across the world. Prior to his involvement with IO, Wanger co-founded and managed Sterling Network Services, LLC, a leading enterprise data center services provider. Earlier in his career, Wanger was a private equity investor and served as Senior Vice President at Sterling Partners where he directed a variety of investments and transactions for the firm. Wanger graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Emory University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Boston University School of Law.
William Slessman
CTO and COO
William Slessman serves as Chief Technology Officer/Chief Operating Officer of IO. In this capacity, he is directly responsible for global technology delivery, DCaaS Operations, engineering and manufacturing. He has served as Chief Operating Officer from the Company's inception in 2007 and leads all operations and technology development. Slessman has been an executive in the technology and data center industry for over 10 years, and has had responsibility for meeting the technology and service level needs for hundreds of enterprise and government customers. Prior to joining IO, Slessman co-founded and was COO of Sterling Network Services, LLC, a leading enterprise colocation services provider (sold in July 2006). Slessman has assisted some of the largest, most technologically dependent and demanding companies in applying advanced technologies to their businesses, including Reed Elsevier, PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, Toyota Financial Services and Heller Financial. Slessman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Applied Sciences from Arizona State University.
Kevin Malik
CIO and GM IO Labs
Kevin Malik serves as Chief Information Officer and General Manager of IO Labs, where he oversees software innovation, governance, architecture, and IT strategy. His core focus is developing IO.OS - the world's first data center operating system. Malik previously served as Vice President, Global Enterprise IT, for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. During his tenure at Starwood, Malik oversaw technology systems in over 20 different countries and was a key advisor on data center and infrastructure trends. Malik has extensive international experience and global leadership. Prior to Starwood, Malik was a lead consultant for a large SAP deployment for the City of Phoenix and worked as a consultant with Accenture. Malik holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona
Jim Kleeman
EVP Global Sales and MarCom
Jim Kleeman serves as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and MarCom at IO. In this role, he is responsible for developing, managing and executing the global sales of the organization, as well as the marketing strategy and execution for IO. Kleeman joins IO from System Maintenance Services, where he served as CEO and Executive Vice President, and prior as GM/SVP with Avnet, and Managing Partner at Gemma Capital. Kleeman brings over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology field including developing and executing strategic planning, management, customer relations, and vendor and partner relationships. Kleeman graduated from Loras College with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology. Kleeman has served on the Advisory Council for Hewlett Packard and Expanets leadership team. He is an Emeritus member of the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and is actively involved in other charitable organizations including Fresh Start Women's Foundation, Men's Board for Fresh Start, notMYkid Foundation and United Way.
Kindra Martone
SVP Global Ecosystem
Kindra Martone serves as SVP Global Ecosystem at IO. In this capacity, Martone will lead business development and program management for IO's global partner network. Prior to her role as SVP Global Ecosystem, Martone served as Chief of Staff, led the Sales organization and served as General Manager at IO. Martone has more than 15 years of experience in the information technology industry. Before joining IO, Martone held a number of positions with Cisco Systems including global Sales Management and Operations Management. Martone graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from Arizona State University.
Karen Stein
General Counsel
Karen Stein is General Counsel for IO. Ms. Stein oversees all legal and risk management functions of the Company. She holds a Juris Doctor, with Honors, from Emory University, an MBA from Loyola University with a concentration in Finance, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Maryland, where she graduated magna cum laude. She has practiced law since 1994, focusing on business transactions, licensing, and intellectual property. Before joining IO, Ms. Stein practiced at the Troutman Sanders law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, and served as the Assistant General Counsel for the PGA TOUR for ten years.
Adil Attlassy
SVP Global Operations
Adil Attlassy serves as SVP Global Operations of IO. In this capacity, he is directly responsible for global operations and oversees IO’s global Data Center 2.0 strategy. Attlassy has spent the past 17 years in the telecommunications and data center industry, and has had responsibility for delivering solutions for global enterprise customers. Prior to joining IO, Attlassy held executive positions with Digital Realty Trust in the US, the UK and Singapore. Attlassy has supported the delivery of more than 500 megawatts of data center capacity across 64 data center sites in North America, Europe and APAC. In his most recent capacity, he managed data center development projects in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and Japan. He received a DUT from Institut Universitaire de Technologie, Mulhouse, France, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles and an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management.
Aaron Peterson
SVP Product Management
Aaron Peterson is Senior Vice President, Product Management at IO. Mr. Peterson is responsible for IO's product strategy including product planning, roadmap development, requirements architecture and product launch execution. With more than 20 years in executive enterprise technology positions, Mr. Peterson joined IO from IBM Corporation, where he served as a leader in software technical sales. Previously, Mr. Peterson was in technical product development and sales at Initiate Systems, which was acquired by IBM, and held technical leadership positions at Acxiom and Accenture.
Peter Morrow
SVP and Interim CFO
Peter Morrow, CPA, has served as Interim Chief Financial Officer since April 2013 and Senior Vice President since January 2013. Morrow previously served as Vice President of Global Tax at Las Vegas Sands Corp., a developer of integrated resorts, from August 2011 to January 2013. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Tax at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., a global hotel company. Morrow began his career at Ernst & Young, an accounting firm where he was Tax Manager prior to joining Starwood Hotels. Morrow earned a Bachelor of Science in Business/Computer Information Systems and a Masters in Taxation from Arizona State University.
