The Primordial Life
Notebook Primordial Life is an experiment in computer based evolution. Watch biots (artificial life forms) evolve as they struggle against each other in a battle of survival. Biots assume many shapes and sizes and are both predators and prey. Experience life and death in a window or as a screen saver!
Primordial Life 3.21 is now available! This version can automatically connect biot ecosystems together over the Internet using a Primordial Life Server. One can only imagine what might evolve with hundreds of ecosystems connected at one time! Connect now and see! Version 3.2 changes this simulation by allowing biots to get larger. In addition, the new version adds gender allowing males to be different colors and sizes. Finally, there is a new biot inspector that allows you to see some details about individual biots. NOTICE TO PRIMORDIAL LIFE 3.2 USERS: Biots in the world population have contracted the NaN virus! (Not a Number). When an healthy biot touches a biot with NaN virus, it gets NaN virus as well. The virus immobilizes the biot and the environment quickly becomes stagnant. Hence, the world of biots has become a dull place. Version 3.21 fixes this bug. Primordial Life 3.21
