Equilibrium Bottles--the Heart of AURA-SOMA The heart of AURA-SOMA is the range of 104 dual-colored Equilibrium bottles. The very first AURA-SOMA products were the original Equilibrium bottles created by Vicky Wall in 1983. It was Vicky who founded the AURA-SOMA system. You can read her in-depth account of the history of AURA-SOMAa in The Miracle of Color Healing. It's a fascinating story--a book I was unable to put down until I'd finished reading it from cover to cover! After Vicky created the first 43 Equilibrium bottles, she handed over much of the process to Mike and Claudia Booth, but she remained instrumental in the development until bottle 78. Mike, who now heads AURA-SOMA worldwide, continues the careful expansion of the range into the new aeon. Inside the Bottles Each Equilibrium bottle contains two-fractions, an oily fraction resting over a watery fraction. The upper fraction contains the essential oils and crystal energies, while the lower fraction contains the herbal extracts, crystals, gem elixirs, and water from the Chalice Well in Glastonbury. All the plants used in the bottles are grown in Europe using the Rudolph Steiner method of farming, known as bio-dynamic farming. All the colors are completely natural, which goes far beyond being simply organically grown! There is a correspondence of color in the bottles with the color signature found in nature in the plants and mineral kingdoms. How to Use Equilibrium Bottles and How They Work The Equilibrium bottle oils are used primarily on the body, although there is a therapeutic value in just looking at them. If you do choose to use a bottle, the upper and lower fractions would be shaken together and applied to the outside of your physical body. The oils, extracts, gem elixirs, and color frequencies carried in the oil are absorbed by the body through the skin and travel through the lymphatic system to the appropriate areas of need. We are literally surrounding ourselves with that color from the plant and mineral kingdoms--absorbing them, and allowing them to replenish our whole Being. From physics we know everything is energy. When we work with an Equilibrium bottle, we could say we are synchronizing the frequencies of the energy fields around and within us with the frequencies of the bottle we are working with. Science is beginning to discover the miracle that we are light beings, that is, energy vibrating at different levels, each vibrational level projecting a color of the rainbow. We are alive because a life force flows through us. This life force is regulated by subtle energy centers called chakras. Each chakra is in constant motion and resonates to a particular wavelength of color. When we feel "off," one or more of these centers is out of balance.
