Color System Overview
Aura-Soma was born in 1984 as a result of inspiration, an inspiration that has since circled the planet. Vicky Wall, the originator of the system called it "old wine in new bottles". She also called the color bottles "living jewels" that enable people to recognize themselves through the universal language of color.
It is radically different from many other color systems, its method is "self selective" and "non-intrusive" and thereby it honors the wisdom within each being. It helps to integrate the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of our being through color. Aura-Soma may open the door to many different aspects within us.
People come to Aura-Soma for many reasons, some to find a vocation, some to find themselves. Whatever the reason we believe there is something of value to be found, especially at this time in history.
Aura-Soma seeks those who wish to recognize the unseen colors within themselves and practice self-remembering.
For those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, "Come and See".
Course Types
There are 3 six-day training courses that need to be done in sequence, as each is designed to build upon and deepen the information of the preceding course. There is no time limit in which they must be done but it is recommended that there be at least four months between courses so there is time to assimilate and put into practice the information that has been shared. The courses are as follows:
- Level I—Introduces the AURA-SOMA color system and soul therapy. Students explore color theory and color associations (what color can say about people). Students learn how to use Equilibrium bottles, Pomanders, and Quintessences and gain the vocabulary and confidence to begin sharing the system with family and friends.
- Level II—Broader and deeper study of color awareness. The course includes color symbolism; interpretation of bottle selection at the chakra and subtle energy levels; the primary colors in relation to Buddhist metaphysics; numerology and its relationship to the Equilibrium bottles; introduction to color correspondences with planetary energies and astrology; gems used within the Aura-Soma system; color in clothing and decor; color breathing (how to begin); synergy consultations; and further aspects of the "Masters" relating to the color range and Quintessences.
- Level III - Expanded color awareness through study of color in ancient wisdom systems, primarily Kabballah Tree of Life and Tarot. Color theory is studied in relation to the evolution of consciousness, as revealed by the unfolding sequence of the AURA-SOMA Master bottle series. We will also explore subtle anatomy from an AURA-SOMA point of view, and the symbolism of the color combinations, through a creative technique called mind mapping. The aim of the course is to go beyond known information the student has about AURA-SOMA, to enable the student's intuition to connect to the essence of the system. There is also a practical session which heightens awareness of the consultation process and encourages a refinement of supportive skills. On completion of this level of the training, the student is enabled to work, if desired, with the public in a more visible and general way. This is the culmination of the training process in relation to pre-diploma work. Course Requirements: Submission and acceptance of the 2,000-word essay.
- Teacher Training - Four more advanced levels of training are offered, usually in England at the main AURA-SOMA headquarters. These qualify you to teach the first three levels.
