IO Announces Data Center as a Service Contract with BEX Express
IO, the leading provider of next-generation modular data center technology and services, today announced the company has been awarded a contract by BEX Express, a managed services provider for small and medium-sized companies.
IO will provide BEX Express with Data Center as a Service (DCaaS™) delivered out of the IO Phoenix data center. This approach supplies BEX Express a high-performance, cost-effective solution – without having to invest resources in building and maintaining its own data center
A key selection factor for BEX Express was that IO provides a carrier-neutral data center with a choice of multiple telecommunications carriers and free cross-connects. Also important was that IO offers a 100 percent uptime service level agreement (SLA) on its Internet services.
“IO DCaaS is delivered from a state-of-the-art data center, making it an ideal choice to support our growing services business,” said David Beck, founder, BEX Express. “IO also provides stringent access control, and infrastructure monitoring and analysis to ensure we have the high levels of protection and reliability our customers need.”
IO Phoenix is the largest commercially available data center in the United States to achieve Tier III Design Certification from the Uptime Institute. Organizations can use IO DCaaS to support cloud computing, high-availability applications, business continuity/disaster recovery, data center consolidation and other strategic technology initiatives.
