IO Data Centers Offers Clients Europe’s Largest Fiber Network

IO Data Centers (“IO”), the leading provider of enterprise colocation and data center solutions, today announced the addition of TeliaSonera International Carrier, a leading global provider of IP, capacity and voice services, to its growing list of carriers available to its data center customers.

TeliaSonera International Carrier owns and operates more than 27,000 miles of fiber network with over 100 points of presence in 35 countries across Europe, the US and Asia. The addition of TeliaSonera International Carrier allows IO to offer new and existing customers increased options including the opportunity to connect directly toEurope’s largest and fastest growing IP backbone.

IO operates carrier-neutral data centers and provides its customers with direct access to more than a dozen telecommunications carriers including AT&T, Verizon Business, Level3, AboveNet, AGL, Cogent, Qwest, tw telecom, XO Communications, and now TeliaSonera International Carrier. In addition, IO offers enterprise-grade blended bandwidth and data transport services. The company does not charge for cross-connects and recently announced that it will save its existing customers more than $25 million over the next three years in cross-connect fees.
