IO Expands APAC Team to Keep Pace with Data Center 2.0 Demand
IO, the global leader in software-defined data centers, today announced two additions to the Company’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) operations. Steve Langley has been appointed the region’s Vice President, DCaaS™ Operations and Peter Goh has been appointed Vice President, APAC Enterprise Sales.
Mr. Langley joins IO from Thomson Reuters where he was responsible for data center management operations and the delivery of mission-critical services and support. At IO, he will coordinate DCaaS operations, security, maintenance and service level attainment.
Prior to IO, Mr. Goh was the APAC Regional Sales Director for GreenPlum, a division of EMC. He will draw on his 20+ years of experience in the software, storage and IT services industries to help drive IO’s enterprise sales.
Today’s news builds on the September 2012 announcement that IO had secured Goldman Sachs as a global strategic technology partner with plans to expand DCaaS operations in Singapore to service the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Langley and Mr. Goh will be instrumental in driving and delivering IO business in the region.
“We need a world-class team in APAC, and Peter and Steve are a perfect fit,” said Adil Attlassy, IO’s SVP of Global Operations.
