IO Improves Hunt Construction Group’s Disaster Recovery and Operational Capabilities

Phoenix, AZ - May 29, 2012

IO, the leading provider of next-generation modular data center technology and services, announced today that the company has been awarded a contract by Hunt Construction Group, one of the top commercial builders in the United States.

As part of the agreement, IO will provide Hunt with Data Center as a Service (DCaaS(™)) delivered out of the IO Phoenix data center. This approach supplies Hunt a secure, cost-effective data center with a concurrently maintainable, fully redundant solution without having to invest resources to deploy and maintain its own data center.

“IO was the ideal choice when we decided to move our data center from our headquarters office to a more secure, off-site location,” said Steve Atkins, Executive Vice President and CFO, Hunt Construction Group. “As demonstrated by its Tier III Design Certification, IO Phoenix can meet our rigorous enterprise data center requirements by delivering the infrastructure reliability and redundancy we need to run our business systems efficiently.”

“We were supremely confident in recommending IO to Hunt because IO engineers its data center solutions for reliability, flexibility, cost-efficiency, network access and security,” said Phil Calzadilla, a founding partner of NextNet Partners. “IO solutions provide a great complement to our network services of cloud, collaboration and virtualization.”

IO Phoenix is the largest commercially available data center in the United States to achieve Tier III Design Certification from the Uptime Institute. IO DCaaS solutions utilize IO.Anywhere® modular data center technology, which provides everything a company needs for the enterprise-class infrastructure required to run IT operations.
