Leading Wall Street Tech Banker Joins IO Data Centers as CFO
Jonathan F. Mauck Brings “Bulge Bracket” Capital Raising Expertise to the IO Data Centers Executive Team
IO Data Centers (“IO”), the leading provider of enterprise colocation and data center solutions, today announced the appointment of Jonathan F. Mauck as Chief Financial Officer.
Mauck joins IO from Citigroup’s Investment Banking Division where he was the Global Head of the Communications Infrastructure team. During his 11 year tenure with Citigroup, Mauck advised technology and telecom companies, including data center service providers, on strategic transactions and successfully raised more than $20 billion in capital, including debt and equity.
The announcement was made by George D. Slessman, CEO of IO. “Jon Mauck is an extraordinary talent in the data center industry. His proven financial discipline and ability to access the capital markets fits well with our commitment to grow with our customers as their IT energy and data center services needs grow.”
Mauck said: “I joined IO because it is the best growth platform in the entire data center industry, and is leading its transformation.” Mauck added that “IO is uniquely positioned as the only scalable provider of data center services focused on enterprise customers.”
Mauck received a bachelor’s degree with honors in finance and economics from George Mason University, where he also led the National Debate team to the championship. Mauck went on to get his law degree from Boston College, where he served as editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter Digest. Prior to his career as an investment banker, Mauck practiced law in New York.
