LIZARD Tie Tac or Brooch
This poor little lizard drowned
itself in a bucket in Laura's studio sink. She cast it in
sterling silver, now it's immortalized. |
BLACK & WHITE PIN - This unusual piece of
jewelry is one-of-a-kind. The artist made a black &
white pattern ceramic piece and refired it with a 22 k white
gold pattern. The base piece of sterling silver was made of
sheet silver with a scribed pattern, and square wire was
soldered to the base. The silver base piece was oxidized to
darken the scribed lines and add depth to the piece. A
sterling wire was then inserted through the hole in the
ceramic piece, square tubing was placed over the wire and
all these parts were soldered in place. Then the ceramic
'stone' was bezel set with fine silver onto the sterling

CACTUS PIN - In relief, this saguaro cactus stands
out as king of the desert, with a mountain landscape in the
background. A dark patina accents the design. Cast sterling
silver in matte or polished finish. 1 7/8" x 1" 3/8.
Also available as a bolo tie with braided leather cord and
sterling tips. |
