Living Legends GM Screen Assembly Instructions Hi, and thank you for purchasing the Living Legends GM Screen! These instructions will guide you through the process of printing and assembling your GM Screen. PRINTING 1) Open file UNI10002.pdf with yout Acrobat Reader. These instructions assume that you are using Acrobat Reader 6.0; some details may vary slightly between different versions of Acrobat. 2) The Living Legends GM Screen can be printed in color or black & white. Obviously, a color printer is required if you want to print your GM Screen in color. Decide which option best fits your situation. 3) Load 3 sheets of heavy cardstock paper into your printer. White cardstock is best if you intend to print your GM Screen in color, but for black & white printing you may use any light colored cardstock. 4) Click the "Print" button in Acrobat. 5) Select the printer you want to use, and adjust its Property settings if needed. Do not put a check mark in the "Print to File" box. 6) Print Range: Print pages 1 thru 3. Subset: All pages in range 7) Page Handling: Copies: 1 Page Scaling: None Auto-Rotate and Center: check this box Choose Paper Source by PDF page size: un-check this box 8) Click the "Okay" button to print pages 1-3. Your printer should print pages 1-3 of the .pdf file, oriented and scaled properly to fit the paper with about a 1/2" margin on all sidea. If the pages don't print properly, review the preceeding instructions to figure out what went wrong. If they do print properly, proceed with step 8. 9) Remove the three printed pages from the output tray. Do not rotate or shuffle them. Turn the entire stack over, lengthwise, and e-insert them into the paper imput tray. 10) Print Range: Print pages 4 thru 6. Do not change any other printer settings. 11) Click the "Okay" button to print pages 4-6. You should now have three pages, printed on both sides. The printing on the back should NOT be upside-down from the printing on the front. Again, if anything went wrong, review these instructions and try to locate the error. If you canot get the pages to print correctly, email unigames@io.com and request assistance. ASSEMBLY 12) Remove the pages from your printer's output tray. Do not rotate or shuffle them. Place the entire stack in front of you, oriented so that you can read the text on the top page. 13) Take the top page and slide it to the right of the stack. Take the bottom page, and slide it to the left of the stack. You now have the three pages of the GM Screen, laid out the way they should be. 14) Tape the edges of the three pages together. We recommend one strip of tape on each side of both seams. Trim off any excess tape with a scissors. 15) The picture with the words "LIVING LEGENDS" on it goes in the middle of the GM Screen, facing the players. The pages to each side of it should be identical; they display information that is useful to the players. If that's not how your GM Screen turned out, then something went wrong. Review the instructions to try and locate the error. Again, email unigames@io.com and request assistance if you can't figure it out. Fold the side pages back away from the picture - that is, toward the GM's side of the Screen. Viola! Your Living Legends GM Screen is ready for action!
