Silver has a reputation for being highly obnoxious -- currently, she's with
her friend, Penny,
and is annoying Flare (the red Kintaran
in the foreground) by dancing on his bar. She's also teaching Penny her
own bad habits. Penny is an engineer who apparently has a fondness for hanging
around with a hotshot pilot who has more attitude than is probably good
for her.
Silver's outfit is reflective, and I'm experimenting with how to color such
a thing. Penny's outfit is a cleverly-programmed biosuit -- it's mostly
metallic copper (as is her hair...), but has translucent bits with only
a coppery sheen, so it can fake being one-sleeved, for instance. Most of
this is using Painter's airbrush tool, but also watercolor and pen&ink
tools.
