Phineas takes out his cellphone and dials Pat's number.
Pat answers the phone. "Murphy."
Phineas says "Ah, Patrick. This is Phineas. I was wondering if we could meet someplace."
Pat says "I was on my way out the door, actually. What is it?"
Phineas says "Are these wireless phones secure?"
Pat says "This one is."
Phineas says "Well, I do not think mine is. So we should most likely meet someplace. But I'm sure you know what it is concerning."
Pat says "Do you have a land-line phone available?"
Phineas says "I prefer face to face. Technology is always so .. vulnerable. Don't you think?"
Pat says "Alright. There's a small cafe a few blocks from my house. You should have seen it earlier. We'll get coffee."
Phineas says "Agreeable. What time?"
Pat says "How long will it take you to get there?"
Phineas notes you can hear the sound of .. classical music playing, softly, in the background. "About ten minutes, if the lights favor me."
Pat says "Alright. Ten minutes, then."
Phineas arrives at the coffeeshop some time later, driving a nice luxury sedan. He miraculously finds a parking spot nearby. He goes to the shop dressed quite differently than before.
Phineas sits down not much minding his clothing, and takes out a business card, sliding it towards you, "This is my phone number and address, should you need to reach me. I am rarely there, though. But it is a good place to deliver a package. "
Pat takes the card and pockets it, nodding. "Thank you."
Phineas says "Forgive the cloak and dagger routine. But given that Technology is involved, I prefer old-fashioned means of communication."
Pat says "It's quite alright, Phineas. I play the gumshoe to the hilt on occasion."
Phineas nods, "Thank you." He orders a cup of coffee, cream and sugar from a passing waitress, "I'd like to meet with you and your collegues."
Pat nods. "I expected as much. Do you still have the number I gave you?"
Phineas nods, "Of course. Is the bistro on the back a good restaraunt?"
Pat says "And then some. It belongs to Creation."
Phineas says "I see. The Creationers have interesting food, to say the least. Do many frequent the locale?"
Pat says "Three, now. The Seneschal, a Virtue in service to Dream, and my partner."
Phineas takes out his notepad, "Could you give me their names, in case I find myself there before you can properly introduce us?"
Pat nods. "Of course. You're most likely to find Marath there at all hours. She's clad in an Italian woman's body, on the robust side."
Phineas nods and waits for the other name patiently, scribbling down 'Marath' on the paper.
Pat says "I believe Taroniel and Alia are both staying in the upstairs rooms. They both serve Blandine."
Phineas nods, "Which one is your Partner?"
Pat says "That would be Daimonique."
Phineas says "Daimonique. And the Seneschal?"
Pat says "Marath."
Phineas smiles, "What names are they currently using?"
Pat says "I believe Marath goes by the same. Aron, Azalea, and Daimon are the others, respectively."
Phineas says "A man, a woman and a man, respectively?"
Pat says "In the flesh, yes."
Phineas nods, "That is the important part for my recognition of them at the moment." He smiles, "Thank you Patrick. You've been most helpful."
Pat nods. "I endeavour to be."
Pat says "Part of my duties here involve coordination amongst the Host."
Phineas gets his coffee and smiles at the waitress, "I'm sorry, can I get this to go? Thanks." He turns to face Pat again, "I'm glad to hear it. Should you so desire, I'm available for such coordination, within reason. If for no other reason than goodwill and to thank you for being so helpful."
Pat nods. "I'll keep it in mind."
Phineas gets his check and pays. He stands up and brushes the wrinkles from his suit, "Walk with God, Patrick. I'm sure I'll be in touch."
Pat nods. "I'll expect it, Phineas. Walk evenly."
