Izboniah, this is an update on information gathered this morning by various people. I send it both for your personal edification and as a file copy, in case anything untoward should happen to me before I can manage another formal report.
A Dream-related drug, currently under investigation by a mixed group (Taroniel, Malakite of Creation in service to Dream; Azalea, Ofanite of Dream; Zebina, Ofanite of Trade; Tania, Soldier of Creation), seems to be infused with raw Ethereal Force material. The makers of the drug (humans named Thomas and Belle, primarily) are customers of one Dr. Matthews. You may have heard of him as Fine Books Research and Acquisition, Vienna. That shop includes a defensible entry-corridor, in which a voice-grille requests visitors' name, reason for entry, and reference. Matthews also maintains five clocks in perfect unison at the shop. We'd linked his name to Fate before; in view of the additional evidence, I'd guess him to be an actual Servitor, not a Soldier.
Matthews supplies Thomas and Belle with occult tomes: Sephar and Hitherby (a Domination of Animals), managed to spy upon Thomas purchasing a volume of Levi. Apparently he's previously been provided with the _Domini Telluris_. Future orders may be oriented toward information on Ethereals, at Thomas' request. Matthews is attempting to influence Thomas toward leading their group on the basis of his masculinity. Thomas' cellphone number has been obtained by Sephar as a means of locating him.
I am presently en route to Paris in the company of Mazpatiel (a Power of Judgment) and Daimonique (a Redeemed Lilim of Creation, in service to Judgment) as well as portions of both Hitherby and Sephar. Other portions of the Dominations are maintaining observation of Matthews. If all goes well, on return I hope to track down Thomas and/or Belle and read their possibilities with a view to counter-intervention; I may also attempt further investigation of Matthews and Fine Books Research and Acquisition, if it can be done without alerting him.
