CenTex IDPA

CenTex usually holds IDPA style matches at the Hill Country Rifle Range near
Austin, Texas - on the fourth Saturday of each month, with date exceptions
noted on the schedule, below. This year - however - the schedule is a little
more iffy.

2003 CenTex IDPA Schedule:

*January 25
*February 22 - Texas Tactical Match offered Mike Webb & Jennifer Wilson.
*March 22 - David Christofferson's inaugural as MD.
*April 26 --- no match director, no match
*May24 ?
*June 28 ?
*July 26 ?
*August 23 ?
*September 27 ?
*October 25 ?
*November 22 ?
*December 27 ?

Start time is 9:00am. Matches typically consist of six to ten stages and
require 60 -100 rounds.

NOTE: All Centex matches require starting with a concealed weapon from
October to May. The rest of the year, concealment clothing is optional.

What you will need to participate:

   * Eye protection
   * Ear protection
   * Practical handgun
   * Practical holster
   * Three magazines or speedloaders
   * 100 rounds of ammunition
   * $15.00 match fee

First time participants will be given a new shooter's walkthrough which
covers range commands, safety rules and scoring. After the first match, IDPA
membership is required for participants. Applications for IDPA membership
are available at the range.
