When Bad Things Happen to Good People
Harold S. Kushner
Avon Books, New York, NY (1981)
Though Harold Kushner is a Rabbi, this book is written from the perspective of a man who's faith was shaken by a personal tragedy. As a rabbi, he has seen his share of grief as people come to him, looking for answers. In this book, he shows how God can allow bad things to happen to good people. I'm not going to try to explain it myself, but if this is something you are bothered by or interested in readign about, then I strongly recommend that you read this book.
