More From Les & Links Too!

Living in Austin, Texas has been a great joy for me. It is full of people who like living here. As the state capital, there's never any shortage of controversy and spicy rumors. It's a modern boomtown so it's sad to see old landmarks go but that seems to be the price for a dynamic economy. Time will tell if that price is too high or not. There are links all over this page, click the next two links and you will see my home, the shack by the creek. This link leads to a picture, it is the view to my place looking up the path through the Live Oak forest, this link leads to the picture image that is the full estate as seen from the creek. Smack dab in the middle of Texas, Austin is a friendly city. It's full of tradition that mixes cowboys and oil wells with micro-chips and intellectu wells. As a gentle mix of urban sophistication and country charm, I feel uniquely qualified to make Austin my home. My Goal in Life: To sell one "On Earth As It Is In Austin" bumpersticker to every Austinite with a car, pick-up, boat trailer, bicycle helmet or motor home. That should take care of my retirement. If the rest of you would order a couple thousand for your town, I'd appreciate that as much as my girlfriend who stands to benefit from some fine dining and dancing should this happen. On the spiritual level, I have founded a pocket size, easy to operate cult of "The Cosmic Pliers of Perpetual Social Adjustment". As you know, there's a lot of loose nuts out there and every one of them, once adjusted, realizes how capable, beautiful and lovable they are. I also believe we will someday have diplomatic relations with a race of alien beings. I believe this because it's more fun than denying it. I hope they make Austin their headquarters and they all buy saucer-stickers from me. But I'm not completely commercial. As I live this fabulous life, I've encountered wonderful people. I count my true wealth by the quality of the friends I've made. Then there's the beautiful places and the ennobling ideas I've been privileged to experience.

I hope the following links enrich your time here as well. Peace and Adjustment to all.
