More About Clark B. Wierda More About Clark B. WierdaPreviously, I lived in Arkansas. I went by the name, The Arkansas Traveller. I feel that the name is reasonable since I put nearly 4000 miles a month on my car. I'm currently on my third Subaru, a 1995 Legacy Wagon. This car has (as of May 1997) over 86,000 miles.
As I no longer live in Arkansas, I am now just Traveller. I use this name on both Go Servers on the Internet. I started playing Go in June 1995 when a friend introduced me to the game.
On the travel for just a bit longer, on my New Year's 1996 trip I covered 3300 miles and included Cross-Country skiing in Colorado and a Music convention in Nashville, Tennessee. The trip before this was around Labor Day 1995 and is best described as going home (at the time Iowa) from Louisville, Kentucky by way of Grand Forks, North Dakota and New Orleans, Louisiana.
Most of the trips I take are for personal reasons. I enjoy kayaking and canoeing. I have family in Michigan, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Alaska. I attend several Science Fiction/Fantasy conventions a year (both big trips already mentioned included conventions). I am also an Air Force Reservist and travel back to my unit in Arkansas each month for training. This year (1997) my Annual Tour for the Air Force is in Panama.
I currently live in Ypsilanti, Michigan (home of Domino's Pizza). I am a computer systems/network support specialist presently assigned to Ford Motor Company.
