I'm Chuck Ivy - Mac guru,
musician, movie buff, and miscellaneous
Mad Hatter. And this is something that resembles a home page. Sort of.

I enjoy the works of Luc Besson
featuring Jean
Reno with sountracks by Eric Serra. I also collect the works of Marx Bros.
contemporaries, Wheeler
& Woolsey.

And, of course, I would not be able to get any of that info
without access to the Internet Movie
Database.
I've worked on a few small video projects with Jesse Garson. At some
point in the next few years, we may actually have a DVD of © for
Hire available. That would involve finishing the special effects,
editing, scoring and such first though. And even then, only a dozen people
would be interested in actually watching the thing.

| I once managed to convince the folks at MacWeek that I knew
something about web pages. Of course MacWeek no longer exists, and their archives disappeared, so I no longer have a link...
I'm managing editor of an e-zine, PHUI, though we haven't done much there in a while...
Most recently I've written photo essays for my friends at tightcircle including ones on Spinal Tap, the blues, and media reactions to the WTC attack.
I keep a journal of sorts here.

For a while now, I've been tracking down actors who are also musicians.
Examples include Lee Curreri, who
played Bruno Martelli in Fame, and Jim Byrnes from the
Highlander TV series. Dean Cameron
plays a mean bass, not unlike Penn Jillette. Most recently, I've been going to see The Jenerators, featuring Bill Mumy and Miguel Ferrer. Great music! Reminds me of Jimmy Raycraft and the Roaring Calhouns back in Houston.
