The Disney Corporation is under fire for making a movie based on the venerable cartoon character Mr. Magoo, who had the unfortunate problem of not being able to see anything right in front of his face even though it was clearly visible to all around him. Advocates for the blind maintain that this movie will lead to an entire new generation of kids being labeled "Magoo."
Currently, such near-sighted children are referred to as "Reno".
