V.P. Al Gore spent the weekend on the Campaign Stump, but no one
really paid any attention because no one could tell the difference
between the stump and Gore.

The Second Couple, Al and Tipper, were shown in the paper, wrapped in
gauze, in their matching Halloween costumes. As mummies, Tipper was
well-received, but folks thought that Al was a little too stiff. between
the stump and Gore.
