The Railroad
The Democrats on the Judiciary Committee have stated that they believe
they are trying to stop a railroad. They have a point.
Since 1994, the GOP has been running a train a progress that has
steamed along despite the President's effort to derail or sidetrack
it. And every time the President notices how much of America is on
board, he runs up to the locomotive and toots the horn.
Of course, the President says that it's the GOP that has
the loco-motives. Meanwhile, he has someone tooting on his horn.

The 82nd Question
Unknown to the public, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Henry Hyde
actually sent an 82 question to the President for the United States. The
question and answer follow:
Q: Do you affirm or deny that your name is William Jefferson
Clinton?
A: As you may be aware, I was actually given the name William Jefferson
Blythe and it wasn't until several years later that I changed that name to
William Jefferson Clinton to honor my stepfather. It depends on what the
meaning of "is" is?

About Yesterday's Joke
After yesterday's joke was posted, I received this:
If it's tree sap [on the dress], it could have been VP Al Gore!

The Stain on the Dress
The President's lawyers will argue a new defense of the President
before the House Judiciary Committee. The stain on the dress was
actually just tree sap. Of course, it came from the highest branch
of the government.

A Day That Will Live in Infamy
Fifty-seven years ago today, the Japanese launched a sneak attack on
Pearl Harbor. To commemorate the date, President Clinton launched a
few sneak attacks of his own on some interns, but he denied attacking
anyone named Pearl.
