Well, we're back for a second issue. The first thing that some of you may notice is that we're bigger and smaller: bigger in that this issue has more pages than our first issue; and smaller in that we're shrunk the size of the pages. But there's no need for alarm because we've also switched to a smaller font so that you're getting the same amount of story per page.

We debuted the new format on the second printing of our first issue. Some of those copies were distributed at I-Con X at Stony Brook back in April, and a couple were sent our recent subscribers. Who knows, it may turn out that those of you who have the first printing of the first issue may have a collector's item on your hands.

This issue we had intended to start printing a letter column, but because of time constraints, we hadn't received any letters yet by the time this issue was organized. Maybe next issue. So if you have any comments, suggestions or complaints, send them in.

Before we get to the first story, our Art Editor has asked for the opportunity to say a few words. We now give him the floor.
