Due to legal complications beyond our control, we cannot reprint "The Year The Indy Died" at this time.

What that actually means is P. M. Fergusson was one hell of a guy when he gave me the reprint rights for Indy nearly ten years ago. It took about four years for that reprint to actually see paper and ink.

However, I've lost touch with P.M.F. over the years and haven't been able to contact him about electronic rights. Somehow, I think I know what the answer would be, so I decided to save the postage.

If you really want to read this fine story, however, I suggest you track down a copy of Analog's December, 1986 issue when the story first appeared.

I'd plug my own back issues here, but at most one or two copies of the DTM 1/2 exist (where part two of the story is). There are some copies of the Second Printing of DTM 1/1 remaining.
