Homebrew Cards

I've created many homebrew cards for Guardians over the last decade or so, over 200, in fact. Some of them were balanced for play and meant as possible additions to the game. Some of them were a little too silly for Guardians, which considering how silly the game already is, that is saying something. Some of the cards aren't even really cards.

I also posted several complete messages containing new cards. In particular, check out my Complete List of Elements, my new races Dwarves and Gargoyles, my "borrowed" race Slivers, and my new game mechanic, the Event. (Special thanks to philbarfly for hosting the Event pages.) Some of the Events made it into the fan-generated Seven Seas expansion.

I wanted to include all the cards that I have created over the years. However, I realized that listing them all would take forever and would probably be extremely boring to read. So I'm doing the next best thing. I'll give you one randomly, but feel free to hit the Refresh button.

While some of these cards were presented as original in a Usenet newsgroup, the vast majority of them started life as what I call a ".sigcard". .sigcard was my name for the new cards that I would include after my signature in a message to the Guardians mailing list. Usually, they had something to do with the subject of the message, but often, they were part of a series that I attached to successive messages.
