We took the "fleet" of five boats back to the Viking Isles. Landed at Wolf Clan. The other clans are all off raiding "The Tower of Bosocta". We did all the sweet talking of past events and took a trip over to the home village. Everyone got laid. Then went off to find the "Eagle" Priest of Heimdall.

Traveled to the northernmost island to some "meditation compound." On the nine day hike to it we found a 2 day dead body. Stabbed in the back with poison. I did a speak with dead and got some info from him that indicated that there was some treachery at the place we were going to. Ran into some 11 foot tall Winter Wolves. Killed a couple and I did a Flame Strike on the Alpha male as they ran away. Didn't kill him. Hiked a few more days and came across a Bear clan woman fighting some wolves. We noticed a Winter Wolf sneaking up on the woman while the normal wolves distracted her. The Winter Wolf had a charred tail so I did another Flame Strike on it. Killed it this time.

The woman gave some excuse about a companion that ran off. I did a Commune with Nature to locate his direction and found three humans in range. We ran off after the guy thinking it part of the treachery. Eventually saw him on the horizon. While following we came across two more bodies freshly dead. Popped them in my bag and continued the chase. Helga did some magic and caught up quickly to him and got him to stop. The Female NPC sprinted ahead of us. Lou caught up but said that he was only following behind her. The NPC backstabbed Helga and took her to -1. Lou then killed the NPC. The other guy ran off but died of poison and wounds. Found some packs of poison on the female NPC. So we had five bodies of NPC from the compound. Had three in my bag and carried the other two to the compound.

Go so far as entering the place giving them five bodies and be given a room until the monsignor can see us. Not terribly exciting. We did fight some harpies sent by Hera on the trip to the Viking islands from Trolheim. We have to decide if the treachery is related at all to our mission or if it is a side track.

I can now make weapons so I can take commissions now. Ray said it took me eight weeks to remake the sword. I was lucky that I had all the materials already.
