Himiko: "So what is Larva to you?"

Miyu: "I don't think I can put it in words exactly, but maybe I can sing it."

As the music starts Himiko visualises the scene.

Nighttime in a forest, a light rain falls.  Miyu's mother lies on the
ground.  Her eyes are open, but look at nothing.  Thin trickles of blood
drip from two punctures in her throat.  A knife lies inches from her open
hand.

Miyu kneels nearby, sobbing.

    "When I think about the first victim.
    I thought my mother really cared for me,
    but I was not as I appeared to be."

A figure in a dark cloak drops down behind Miyu and puts his arms around
her.

    "Rainy day Shinma,
    on your shoulder I cried
    when my first taste of blood,
    left me thirsty inside."

A younger Miyu is playing outside her house, then she stops as if she
hears something.  Her mother calls her into the house.

    "Ever since I can remember,
    just like an angel, you've been watching over me.
    My earliest unseen companion true."

Inside an abandoned temple, Larva's mask is attached to the wall inside
mystic seals.

    "Rainy day Shinma,
    highly unusual fiend.
    I would slay anything,
    just to hold you again."
