Multituberculates were small, somewhat rodent-like mammals of the Mesozoic Era. Most of them had become extinct by the Eocene, but a few survived, and the designers of the Eocene World on Ronyllevo used one of them as the basis for a race of intelligent, forest-dwelling people, such as Al O'Theria (pictured below). Of course, that isn't Al's real name. Like all the other Eocene people, Al's speech is unpronounceable by humans, and more similar to fairy chattering than anything we would recognize as language. Allotheria is the name of the infraclass of mammals to which multituberculates belong, so it seemed appropriate to call him Al.
