Contructing the Big Finale Room

The Big Finale Room (polite title) was a purpose-built frame structure,
16' tall, 24' on each side, with a sloped roof and a special annex (the
Big Finale Annex) for the effects techs. The garage-side wall was raised
first, attached to the garage, and used as an attachment point for the remaining
walls.

This view of the BFR shows the annex on the left, and the tool area on the
right. The entire BFR was covered with black plastic to hide it from the
yard and light-seal it.

The inside of the BFR was thoroughly painted and detailed. It also served
as a rain-proof storage area for all sorts of equipment. Pay no attention
to the man behind the curtain.
