The Court of Minos
You approach a stone keep, fronted by a small landing. Foul minions await
to escort you into the fastness of Minos, Judge of the Dead.
You enter the keep, and see a small volcano spitting fire before a massive
throne. Silent red-robed minions stand at all sides. Minos stands atop his
throne, calling for fire. The volcano immediately shoots a 40-foot fireball
into the sky!
You are commanded to advance before the throne to be judged. The throne
appears to be composed of lost souls who did not meet Minos' approval.
As the bailiff reads your charges, Minos ridicules and reviles you. Immense
jets of flame erupt from either side. Finally, after much humiliation, you
are sentenced to walk the Paths of the Dead in your hopeless quest and are
chased out.
