Dabble and Google

C'mon, everybody: sing "Synchronicity". On the same day I learned about Dabble, a shared information storage and retrieval system by Avi Bryant's Smallthought, I read that Google apparently launched and then retracted Google Base, as reported by Philipp Lenssen and many others. Google Base is apparently going to be a public database in which you can store your own content.

Darn it, I was working on something like this, too. Maybe I'll finish it just to see if anybody even notices. Ignore that. I shouldn't have written it; I didn't mean to sound so whiny.
