STUFF

Long time no update. Life's been strange, but good. Full. Revealing. Oddly restful, but that could have something to do with the sleep disorder I discovered I had and finally got treatment for. Amazing how lovely life looks once you start getting delta sleep on a regular basis.

Don't know when I'll get around to actually revamping and updating my journal again, but thought I'd pop out here and at least dust the place off some. As you can see, I'm in two anthologies (one fiction, one non-fiction) at the moment. Wish the SG1 anthology was going to be out in time for WorldCon in Boston, but hey, that's life. There's another anthology in the planning stages that I need to get a story written for. The best thing, though, is that I've been asked to submit a short novel (40k words) for a "DoubleDog" from Yard Dog Press. Cast your mind back to the dim dark ages of SF past... remember the old Ace Doubles? Two short novels in the same book, each with their own 'front' cover? Yard Dog is reviving the concept and Melanie Fletcher and I have been asked to do one. The first of the new line (not ours :-) should be out... umm... this Fall, I think. Might be Spring of 2005. Check with the Yard Dog site for details.
