Katherine is usually very even-tempered and is generally good at using negotiation to get others to do what she needs them to in order to promote the Symphony. However, she can be utterly enraged when it comes to evil things threatening those she is assigned to protect and you don't want to stand in her way at that point.

Abilities: Can calm agitated people by talking them through it, can tell what is needed to get a patient motivated to get on the road to recovery, people like her a lot just by being around her which helps a lot on the aforementioned abilities.

Skills: Medical, Song of Healing, Driving, Small Weapon (can of Pepper Spray)

Role: Dr. Kate Sterling, Obstetrician and Pediatrician, she works with drug addicted mothers to protect the unborn children and to care for the babies after they are born. As an aside to the medical practice, she also works with a team to combat drug abuse and trafficking in the city, by rescuing at risk mothers-to-be and children from drug laden environments. Helped to found a "safe-house" with the support of the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul parish for her expectant mothers with nowhere else to go who are trying to avoid the temptation of drug usage, and to get them away from the providers of the poison. The safehouse is called "Mary's House"... and part of her medical practice is in a free clinic in the evenings (running into the night) called South Central Free Clinic... It's a storefront affair... in an old A&P grocery store building that had been divided up for smaller businesses. Free care for the indigent and runaways, and so forth...

History: She's only recently been "assigned" to Indianapolis, but "worked" in Dayton, Ohio in a similar capacity on a previous "assignment". She worked with the Dayton area diocese to make a safehouse there, and did the same sort of drug prevention teamwork as she's starting to do in Indy...

Gender: Female
5'6", looks to be about 115 to 120 pounds, in a pleasing distribution across the body (not lush but not boyish either), wide green eyes, jaw-length, sleek coppery-red hair, fair complexion with no apparent freckles; save for her coloration, her features are somewhat plain.

Exudes compassion and confidence in her medical skills. She's particularly keen on children and, especially babies, and can possibly be distracted from "daily tasks" by children's voices and actions.
