Morgan Campaign NPC List

Significant Locations:

Hoojer: The nation that the campaign is set in. Consists largely of Indiana south of Indianapolis.

Ehleno: A slave nation to the west of Hoojer, in constant conflict with Hoojer. Located in south-central Illinois. Origin of several escaped slave PCs and NPCs.

Bahl: A slave nation to the north of Hoojer, though its slavery is not as entrenched as in Ehleno. It consists of northeast Indiana and parts of Ohio.

Naplis: The ruins of Indianapolis, bordered by Interstate 465. Largely inhabited by Orcs and their slaves and allies.

Morgantown: The seat of Barony Morgan. Base of operations for the PCs. It is *not* in present-day Morgantown, Indiana (which is Old Morgantown), but close to present-day Samaria.

Blum: Capitol of Hoojer. Located in present-day Bloomington.

Mt. Vernon: Capitol of Ehleno. Also the location of Daly's House of Pleasance.

Daly's House of Pleasance: A brothel located in Mt. Vernon, Ehleno. Most of the prostitutes working there were slaves. The PCs learned of Daly's from Selena, a 15-year-old (at the time) Winged Folk who escaped from there and was rescued from the bounty hunter Daly sent after her by Winged Folk PC Chris. This began a campaign-spanning vendetta by the PCs against Daly, including 4 liberation attempts, 3 of which were successful.

Gil's Tavern: One of two taverns in Morgantown and the one the PCs frequent. Run by Gil and Livvy Tavernier with the assistance of Selena. It has a very laid-back atmosphere and tends to have a large non-human clientele. It has a very popular darts contest on Monday nights. Gil keeps a mental list of apartments, rooms, and houses for rent and jobs available, so anyone needing these things is usually directed to Gil's Tavern, which is how the PCs happened upon it.

Balant: Town about halfway between Morgantown and Blum, located near present-day Belmont, Indiana. It is home to an alchemist, who hired Jean-Paul Meunier, and a magic-dealer named Mirdain.

Significant Others, Family, and Like Family:

Arkady Gilson: Gil and Livvy's son, a regular at Gil's Tavern and a city guardsman. Arkady inherited his mother's good looks and his father's height and is a real heart throb, tanned, blond and blue-eyed. The PCs first saw him at a darts game at Gil's the first night they were there, but didn't really meet him until a couple days later when he came to their house with a tattoo artist to modify Selena's slave tattoo.
Arkady is a widower. His first wife died 7 years ago when she was trampled by a runaway horse. She was pregnant at the time. His home still has the nursery room he was preparing for the new arrival, untouched since that day.
Arkady developed a keen interest in Yanah and the two were married in August of 316.
Due to a very minor incident where some City Guardsmen beat up a prostitute, Arkady began an investigation into those Guardsmen and found a ring of corruption definitely involving a dozen Morgantown City Guardsmen (and Morgantown isn't that big). When he and his partner, Balthasar Redoak, were attacked and nearly killed, he did not connect the incident to his investigation. Only when the main attacker was killed in a "jailbreak" attempt was suspicion raised. His attackers had been hired by the head City Guard in the corruption ring. Arkady turned all his notes and evidence over to the Baron, and there were 13 Guardsmen arrested for corruption. He is still under guard, by Alexander and Aristotle, because of this.

Dulinion Carpenter: An Elvish carpenter and woodworker. Not a bad darts player, he's won many games at Gil's. Dulinion is an orphan and was raised by humans. He really doesn't "get" Elvish attitudes, though he tries. He was, nonetheless, interested in having an Elvish wife, eventually. He became interested in Atani and the two got to know each other through his teaching her darts and long walks in the town and woods. He and Atani were married in August of 316.

Elton Magus: A frail and elderly man the PCs met when they accompanied Chris into Ehleno. The PCs have concluded that he was Chris's former master, though Chris has never admitted it. He included Chris in his will, leaving him a large sum of money and his entire library of some 2000 books. He had a female relative, most likely a daughter, named Alysse whose gravesite Chris visited and who taught Chris to read. The PCs concluded that she and Chris fell in love, which was somehow responsible for her death.

Erinduin: Silverwood's brother. Tristan, Palantir and Bethany's father. He is a ranger under Lord Brandywine.
Erinduin opposed the marriages of both Tristan and Palantir. Tristan eloped. Palantir gathered support from his aunt Luhnlothriel and uncle Silverwood against his father and grandfather Talathrandir. After Palantir was nearly killed by the Bale, he simply informed Erinduin the he was getting married and would like his father to perform the ceremony, but would marry without his father's blessing if necessary. Erinduin, haunted by the thought of nearly losing his son, acquiesced and performed the ceremony.
Months later, that same son lead the rescue attempt when Erinduin was captured by Orcs during a raid.
There are rumours surfacing that he may be involved with the Lady Brandywine.

Gil Tavernier: Owner of Gil's Tavern. Middle aged, tall and thin, with long, receding blond hair (usually worn in a ponytail), pale blue eyes and a mustache. Gil doesn't strike one at first as being all that sharp, but he has the memory of an elephant and a laid back style that makes his tavern a very popular place.
He is the father of Arkady Gilson and Rochelle Meunier. He has other adult children living elsewhere in Hoojer. He had a son named Steven Tavernier, his oldest, who is deceased. The memory of him seems to be extremely painful to Gil and he speaks of him rarely.
He has a very good empathic feel for people that makes him a favorite for relationship advice. His empathy, however, sometimes causes him a great deal of pain and stress. Jean-Paul's attack on Rochelle caused him to have a heart attack.
Gil is also heavily involved in the Christian People's Abolitionist Society. Few people know that he runs an underground railroad through his tavern.

Gypsy: 90-odd-years-old, but still sharp, grandmother of Lorathion and Lady Jenna. Everyone calls her "Grandma." It seems to be Grandma's goal in life to see everyone married and settled down.

Harry: Lorathion and Jenna's late grandfather, Gypsy's late husband. None of the PCs but Lorathion has met him, but Gypsy talks about him frequently.

Jean-Paul Meunier (AKA Much the Miller's Son, Ganymede): Age 16. An escaped slave. A member of the Greenwood Robbers under Robin of the Midlands, Much was the one that stopped the party on their way to Leiber and "invited" them to dinner.
Later on, he was badly injured and brought to Gil's, where Doc Budge was. He and Selena recognized each other. It has come out since then that he was a male prostitute slave in the same house that Selena worked in. Married Rochelle Tavernier, Gil and Livvy's daughter, to gain citizenship in Hoojer.
He had to have some rather radical surgery to remove a portion of his stomach and some sarcomas that he had developed as a result of AIDS. Doc performed the surgery and also cured the AIDS.
Jean-Paul had a latent second personality that came out violently one night. He attacked Rochelle. When Robin stepped in to stop the attack, he pulled a sword on Robin. Unarmed and unarmoured, Robin nearly died before Rochelle knocked her husband out. The second personality was named Gerard, and claimed to be Jean-Paul's brother.
Kay Meretree was brought in, on Doc Budge's recommendation, to treat him.
He took a job as an Alchemists apprentice in Balant, but keeps in contact with the PCs and with the Greenwood Robbers.

Livvy Tavernier: Gil's wife and partner in keeping the tavern running smoothly. Livvy looks as though she was a real looker in her younger days and is still attractive, despite being slightly overweight. Blond and blue-eyed.

Luhnlothriel: Silverwood's sister. A ranger under the Lord Brandywine. She has a slightly adversarial relationship with her brother Erinduin and is somewhat closer to Silverwood. She sided with Palantir against his father in allowing him to marry Gillian. She performed Silverwood and Sirmiriel's wedding.

Mary: Tristan's wife.

Rochelle Tavernier Meunier: Gil and Livvy's daughter. Married Jean-Paul so he could have citizenship in Hoojer. The PCs first met her when they escorted her to Morgantown for the trial of Arthur Greenlea for rape and attempted murder.

Morgan Court and Liegemen:

Alexander & Aristotle: identical twin brothers, Sir Robert's guards and aides. Aristotle has a small scar on his jaw that distinguishes him from his brother. Both are brawny and excellent fighters and proud of it. When Arkady's investigation into the Morgan City Guard turned up a ring of corruption, Alexander and Aristotle were assigned to guard Arkady.

Lord Erek Atley: feudal liege of Baron Morgan, lord of Atley. Eldest son of Lord Tecumseh Riverwood, Erek inherited Atley from Lord Sherwin Atley, his uncle (through his mother's side). He gave up all claim to his home of Riverwood in doing so. The PCs know him only in passing.

Lady Rachelle Atley: Wife of Lord Erek Atley. The PCs know her only in passing.

Lord Avenil Imtier: Elf, feudal liege to the Baron Morgan, lord of Imtier. Avenil is very close friends with Robert Morgan and was coincidentally in the capitol city of Tennyson when King Elsharion Sinflarrie received a marriage offer from King Abren of Hoojer to marry Princess Rachel. Sinflarrie learned of her interest in Robert Morgan and sought out information on this person and met Avenil through a set of coincidences. Avenil told him of Robert and convinced him that the marriage would likely be unhappy if Rachel were really in love with Robert and forced to marry Elsharion. This coincidence caused King Abren some concern about Morgan's growing influence and power.

Blanche: member of the Baron's rangers. Famous in the court for her acid tongue and pessimistic attitude. The PCs know her only in passing.

Lady Elenore Brandywine: Wife to Lord Brandywine. Dresses very suggestively and flirts a great deal. Also likely an alcoholic. She was responsible for Silverwood leaving Brandywine. Rumours are presently surfacing that she is involved with Erinduin, Silverwood's brother.

Lord Orien Brandywine: feudal liege of Baron Morgan, lord of Brandywine. Exceptionally jealous and violent in matters concerning his wife. The PCs know him only in passing (except for Silverwood, who knows him too well).

Lady Brigid: middle daughter of the baron and Amelie, wife of Sir Thomas Knight of the Royal Order of the White Sash. The PCs know her only in passing.

Brigida: 14, Tallie & Joella's daughter. Brigida, rather unexpectedly, has some magical aptitude and Tace has taken her on as an apprentice. The PCs know her only in passing.

Sir Chastain of Dearborn: husband of Lady Elizabeth. Uncle to Baron Samson Dearborn and presently heir second. The PCs know him only in passing.

Homer Cloudwalker: Elderly member of the Baron's rangers and Shadow Cat's adoptive human father. Kidnapped by Cassandra of Cisne and her band. He and Cassandra and some guards were on their way to Ehleno when they were attacked by bandits. Homer saved Cassandra, trussed her up on her horse and started heading back home.

James Cloudwalker: 15. Homer's son. Member of the Baron's rangers. Was kidnapped by Cassandra of Cisne and band. Rescued by PCs.

Maria Cloudwalker: 35. Wife of Homer. Was kidnapped by Cassandra of Cisne and band. Rescued by PCs.

Taima Cloudwalker: 13. Homer's daughter. Was kidnapped by Cassandra of Cisne and band. Rescued by PCs.

Damek: 9, Tallie & Joella's youngest son. Damek is usually seen running errands around the court. The PCs know him only in passing.

Lady Elizabeth: youngest daughter of the baron and Amelie, wife of Sir Chastain of Barony Dearborn. The PCs know her only in passing.

Lady Esther Morgan: The baron's mother.

Lady Grace: eldest daughter of the baron and Amelie, Married to Lord James of Barony Avon, Kingdom of LaFei. She bore a daughter named Deirdre while home for her mother's funeral. The PCs know her only in passing.

Lord James of Avon (LaFei): husband of Lady Grace. Nephew of present baron and heir second. The PCs know him only in passing.

Javiera: wife of Parnel, lady servant to Amelie. Famous for a quick temper, her quarrels with Parnel, with Javiera generally loudly arguing while Parnel's voice can be heard quietly trying to soothe her, are a source of humor at the court. The PCs know her only in passing.

Joella: The baron's head cook.

Lady Athena Leiber: feudal liege of Baron Morgan, lady of Leiber. Her marriage nine years ago to Lord Ryon Leiber was quite a scandal at the time, as he was almost fifty years older than she. She had been a ranger for him before their marriage and continued to ride out when duties didn't keep her at home. He named her heir prime over his only surviving son from his first marriage, Sir Phillip Leiber, causing another scandal. When he died eight years ago, Morgan accepted her inheritance of her husband's lands and title quite easily. Though it was always assumed her marriage to Ryon was mercenary in nature, Lady Athena seemed genuinely grieved at his death and has yet to remarry. There were no children of the union. She was in charge of the two missing young people, Bonaparte Wakeland and Evante Riverwood, when they vanished. Witnessed Chris's illusionary immolation and accompanied him to see the baron afterward.

Sir Phillip Leiber: only living son of Lord Ryon Leiber, step-son to Lady Athena, heir prime of Leiber. Steward of Imtier in Lord Avenil Imtier's absence.

Dame Eadith Leiber: Late wife of Sir Phillip Leiber. She died in a hunting accident when she left the hunting party to return home and then came back. Phillip fired at what he thought was a deer and hit her. The PCs knew her only in passing.

Lady Margarethe: Charles Morgan's wife. Very shy. After Charles became involved with Gamaliel, the couple suffered some estrangement. Charles' suicide attempt brought the two to a turning point, and they are slowly rebuilding their relationship. She is pregnant with his second child.

Michel: Head constable of Morgantown. Headed the investigation into Amelie's death under the king.

Lord Charles Morgan: The baron's younger son. The heir prime of the barony.
Despite his mother's best efforts to turn him against his father and illegitimate half-brother, Charles and his father have always had a good relationship and he and Robert are very close. Charles fell apart at the unusual and untimely death of his mother. Charles' marriage to Margarethe was arranged and the two have never seemed to quite click.
After his involvement with Gamaliel and her death, he and Margarethe became further and further estranged. He attempted suicide and was stopped by the Greenwood Robbers, who held him for ransom. During this time, he spent a great deal of time with the recently-spurned Alan-A-Dale. Alan committed suicide in a similar manner to Charles' attempt. Charles was ransomed and returned home. He and Margarethe are slowly building a relationship, and it appears to be working out. She is expecting. They have one child, "Little" Robert.

Lady Jenna Morgan: Mother of Lord Robert Morgan. Cousin of Lorathion. Recently married the Baron Morgan, 29 years after bearing him a son.

Lord Robert Morgan: Robert is the illegitimate son of Lady Jenna and the Baron Morgan. She left Morgantown when she discovered she was pregnant, and William was unaware of the existence of his son. Robert had a bout with polio as a child, which left him crippled. After this event, Jenna sought some help from Lady Esther, the Baron's mother, who learned of Robert's existence and parentage. Esther informed her son, who promptly moved Robert and his mother to the Baronial Keep. This caused an irreconcilable estrangement between the Baron and his wife, the Lady Amelie, though the two did have four children, three after the discovery of Robert.
Amelie worked against Robert's interests at every possible opportunity, though she could never manage to turn her son, Charles, against him.
Robert met the Princess Rachel at a ball in another barony and the two hit it off right away. Abren had severe objections to the relationship, as Robert was crippled and illegitimate. Rachel arranged for the royal court mage, Fortunatus, to heal Robert's legs. At his father and mother's wedding reception, Robert arrived, threw aside his crutches, marched to the king and respectfully asked for Rachel's hand in marriage. Abren, put in a very bad position, and no longer having reasons to object, acquiesced. Robert and Rachel were married on May 17.

Little Robert Morgan: Charles and Margarethe's first child. Less than a year old.

The Baron William Morgan: Hired the group. Though all the barons are technically of equal rank and significance, Morgan is probably the second most powerful man in Hoojer, after the king. The recent marriage of his son, Robert, to Princess Rachel, further increased his power and influence. Fortunately, for the king and Hoojer, William is not a man to abuse his power.

Parnel: the baronial seneschal. The PCs know him only in passing.

Dame Evante Riverwood-Wakeland: 16, daughter of Lord Tecumseh Riverwood. She was engaged to man outside barony, in an arranged marriage contract. She fell in love with Sir Bonaparte Wakeland and the two attempted to elope, but were kidnapped by the man who was supposed to help them. Rescued by the PCs, after they got a clue to her whereabouts from Much the Miller's Son (Jean-Paul Meunier) who remembered the pretty red-head who had passed the Greenwood Robbers' encampment on the road to Cormacksville.
After the Baron intervened on their behalf, Evante and Bonaparte married. She is now expecting their first child.

Sir Philbert ("Phil"-- he hates Philbert) Riverwood: 12, son of Lord Tecumseh Riverwood. Presently serving as a page with the baron.

Lord Tecumseh Riverwood: feudal liege of Baron Morgan, lord of Riverwood. Father of Lord Erek Atley, Dame Evante Riverwood-Wakeland and Sir Philbert Riverwood, as well as nine other children.

Morgantown:

Baajokiil: Goblin Lutheran minister. Regular at Gil's. He performed the funeral for Leotie.

Leander & Trina Baker: Owners of the bakery across the street from the PCs.

Balthasar: Arkady's Ellyllon partner on the City Guard force. When he and Arkady were attacked, Balthasar lost all four of his wings. Because such a disastrous event usually spells the death of an Ellyll, his family was notified. The PCs learned that he was really Lord Balthasar Redoak, youngest son of the Duke Redoak. There was a major confrontation between the PCs, who wanted to keep Balthasar in Morgantown to see if they could save him, and the Duke, who wanted to take Balthasar home to die, as he surely would, among family and friends. The PCs managed to convince Balthasar that they could save him and he told his father he intended to remain in Morgantown. His wife, Iphegenia, is pregnant, which accounted for a great deal of his determination to live. He did live through the experience, though it required the intervention of the royal court mage, Fortunatus, to keep him from starving to death when he went catatonic.

Doc Colm Budge: Halfling physician and healer. A regular at Gil's. The house the PCs are renting belongs to Doc Budge. Doc Budge is, as the PCs have reason to know, a very good healer. He is presently training Silverwood and Sirmiriel in healing magic and mundane medicine.

Gwynette Budge: Doc's wife.

Darian: Tamerlaine's son, 9 years old, blond, green-eyed. The PCs rescued him from the keep of Earl Rushby.

James: Kobold, servant to Baajokiil. The PCs know him only in passing.

John and John: Neighbors. Human and Goblin who run a courier/mail service.

Father Joseph: The local Catholic priest, a man of middle age. He performed the wedding of Jean-Paul and Rochelle, and the funeral for Lady Amelie. He was also present for Jean-Paul's surgery as support for Rochelle.

"Mug" and Donnovan: Dwarvish brothers. Regulars at Gil's. They run the local smithy. Donnovan's not bad at darts, Mug doesn't appear to play, preferring to drink instead.

Percy: A very muscular man who frequents Gil's and enters the darts contest.

Reeve Jackson: A human bard. Jackson performs on harp, lute, or guitar at Gil's for drinks, food, and money from hat-passing. Reeve is gay, though he recently gained custody of Seth, his son from a very brief and unhappy marriage.

Remington: 35. Neighbor. An escaped slave. Makes his living at odd jobs. Remington is an excellent artist who paints whenever possible. His favorite subject is the nude-- human, elf, Winged Folk, male or female.

Running Bear: An Inzin who frequents Gil's for the darts contest. He beat Atani for the first prize.

The Greenwood Robbers:

Alan-A-Dale: One of the Greenwood Robbers and a fair lute-player. Alan was brought to town badly injured and almost lost his hand. He was involved with another member of the Greenwood Robbers, Marjorie, but after he returned from his many days of recuperation, the two broke up. When it became obvious to Alan that she had become interested in Robin, he committed suicide. He had spent considerable time prior to his suicide with the suicidal Charles Morgan, and may have been influenced by him.

Little John: The very UN-little member of the Greenwood Robbers. He married Winona, who was pregnant at the time. The child, Phillip, looks more like Robin than John, but whatever the truth of the relationship Robin to Winona to John, there doesn't seem to be any ill feelings between John and Robin.

Marjory: Member of the Greenwood Robbers. Had a relationship with Alan-A-Dale, which she ended after he had been away recuperating from some severe injuries. She became involved with Robin, which apparently pushed Alan over the edge, believing he could not win her back, and he committed suicide. She recently married Robin and is pregnant.

Robin of the Midlands: Half-Elf. The very congenial, polite head of the Greenwood Robbers. Brought Much and Alan-A-Dale to Gil's when they were injured, seeking Doc Budge. Robin intentionally borrowed from the Robin Hood legend in assigning noms de crime to his men. He became an outlaw because of some crime he committed-- possibly a murder. His real name is Jesse.
Robin fell in love with Marjorie, but avoided any expressions of interest until after her break-up with Alan-A-Dale. He recently married her, apparently because she is pregnant.
The PCs suspect he may be the biological father of Winona's baby, Phillip, whose legal father is Little John.

Liberated Slaves:

Art: Pleasance's cook.

Chandra: Former prostitute with the House of Pleasance.

Erasmus: Former male prostitute slave of the House of Pleasance. His real name is Jason, though he seems to like Erasmus. He was sold when he got involved with his first master's daughter, Sondra, and got her pregnant. After being freed by the PCs, he and Chris and Yanah returned to his birthplace and "kidnapped" Sondra and their child, Jason, Jr. While there, Chris and Yanah also liberated more prostitutes from the House of Pleasance.

Felice: Former prostitute with the House of Pleasance. Bears a slight resemblance to Lady Amelie and drew Perrin's attention.

Frank: Pleasance's bartender.

Leotie: Former prostitute with the House of Pleasance. Killed by a vampire in Morgantown.

Osmo: Ogre bouncer. He has a deathly fear of magic. Osmo's job was to protect the girls from any customers that might get too rough at the House of Pleasance. When he was liberated, he only allowed Chris and the majority of the PCs to take the girls on ahead to Morgantown without him (they could fly the girls out, but not the heavy Osmo) with the understanding that if anything happened to any of them, that Chris could expect to die by Osmo's hands. When Leotie, one of the girls, was killed by a vampire, Chris had to come up with some way to tell Osmo of her death without getting himself killed.
Osmo now works at the glassworks in Morgantown doing heavy lifting and carrying.

National Figures:

Abren V: King of Hoojer. Abren disapproved of the growing relationship between his daughter Rachel and the illegitimate and crippled Robert Morgan. However, in the end, his daughter's collusion with the court mage, Fortunatus, to heal Robert's crippled legs; the marriage of Robert's mother and father; and Morgan's growing power forced Abren to allow the marriage to go forward. The two were married May 17 of 316.

Princess Rachel: King Abren's only child. Recently married Lord Robert Morgan.

Villains and Antagonists:

Arthur Greenlea: Was an escaped slave that Gil Tavernier hired. He was obsessed with obtaining citizenship in Hoojer to avoid being returned to slavery. He raped Rochelle Tavernier (later Meunier) hoping to force her to marry him. When it became obvious that this was a mistake, he attempted to murder her. He was hanged for the offense. None of the PCs met him, but the name comes up now and again.

Cassandra of Cisne: The Cloudwalkers' kidnapper. The PCs have never talked to her, only seen her trussed up on a horse and in the hearing concerning her crime. Homer took her back to Morgantown to stand trial. She was sentenced to 10 years of servitude to the state.

Cesare: One of the kidnapper's working for Cassandra of Cisne. Older brother of Gamaliel.

Dedrick: One of the kidnapper's working for Cassandra of Cisne.

Emmet: One of the kidnapper's working for Cassandra of Cisne.

Feliks: One of the kidnapper's working for Cassandra of Cisne.

Gamaliel: Teen-aged. One of the kidnapper's working for Cassandra of Cisne. Faced Chris, as the death angel, and promptly fainted. The PCs discovered at her trial that Gamaliel was female and not male, and was seeking money to purchase a cure for a tumour in her brain. She was sentenced to serve 5 years to the state, which she was to serve in Morgantown. She and Lord Charles Morgan became friends and possibly lovers. A seizure, brought on by the brain tumour, caused her to lose her balance on the Keep stairs. She died of the injuries.

Gereron: One of the kidnapper's working for Cassandra of Cisne.

Gillead: One of the kidnapper's working for Cassandra of Cisne.

Jed: Daly Pleasance's bouncer. Atani never met him.

Milt the Tavern Keeper: Ran the tavern in Cormacksville and tried to protect the kidnappers of Evante and Bonaparte.

Lady Amelie Morgan: First wife of the Baron Morgan. Tried to arrange an assassination to look like casualty of war of her husband. Now deceased. Atani and Grace never met her. The others saw her only in passing.
Her death, by falling out a third-story window, caused a great deal of tension between Bahl and Hoojer and between her father, the Earl Jesta of Rushby, and the Baron. The official result of the investigation into her death was that it was an accident, which the Earl seemed to accept, but suspicion remains high that she was pushed.

Perrin Magus: Court wizard to the Earl Rushby. Perrin was a bigot who believed only humans and elves are truly worthy of respect and the other races are merely meant to be servants. He probably wouldn't have included elves if it weren't for their racial tendency toward magery. He immediately got on the wrong side of Chris with this attitude and the two began a series of minor snipes that got out of hand when Perrin illusionarily caught Chris on fire. Despite the fact that no real harm was done, the experience was very real, and was witnessed by many people in the Keep. Chris and some others sought the Baron who spoke to the Earl. Rushby put Perrin in his place for a while.
Perrin, however, was very much in love with the Lady Amelie and felt that justice was not done in the investigation of her death. Perrin sought out an Orc tribe, which he managed to convince to raid into Morgan while their defenses were weakened due to the war with Ehleno. The PCs discovered Perrin's involvement when they went to rescue the captured Erinduin from the Orcs. Perrin was captured and turned over to Rushby where he was put on trial for treason, convicted and hanged.

Daly Pleasance: Owner of a slave brothel in Mt. Vernon, Ehleno. Former master of Selena, Jean-Paul, Grace, Sirmiriel, Leotie, Felice, Chandra, Sally, Erasmus, Art, Frank, Osmo, Winona, and Gillian, Agnes, Gloria, Onita, Ormand, and Penny. Atani has not met him (lucky her).

Miscellaneous:

Else Brewer: Gil Tavernier's half-sister in Imtier. Rochelle was staying with her when the PCs picked up Rochelle to be escorted to Morgantown.

Cyrus: Elton's servant.

Darrith: Started the knife-throwing contest in Gil's with Espeth, Lorathion, Atani, and Chris with The Ring in the winner's pot.

Jamie: Apparently the daughter of the kidnapper of Evante Riverwood and Bonaparte Wakeland. Lorathion knocked her out with a spell and tied her up in the forest. He later used an illusionary creation that looked like her to distract the kidnappers. Atani and Grace have never met her.

I stopped here, so stuff below is out of date.

Earl Jesta of Rushby, Bahl: In with his daughter, Lady Amelie, on the assassination plot on the baron. He developed an interest in Grace and a co

Sally: Former prostitute with the House of Pleasance.

Seadon: The name of the vampire that killed Leotie, as gotten from his gravestone.

Selena: Former slave. Chris rescued her from a bounty hunter and sought the help of Doc Budge in saving her life from the injuries she'd received. At first, the PCs thought she was a human (except Chris, who knew better), but she is actually a Winged Folk who has, somehow, lost her wings. She is also an absolute knockout with the voice of an angel and a great personality.

Sirmiriel: Half-elf "trainee" in the House of Pleasance prior to her timely rescue by the PCs.

Stevie Lee: One of the two prostitutes who frequent Gil's. Stevie is a petite red-head, with the temper to match. She recently lost a friend and occasional partner, apparently to a vampire.

Alric Stillman: "The customer from Hell." An alchemist who had been stalking Selena for several days prior to the PCs' trip to Ehleno.

Susan Blonde: One of the two prostitutes who frequent Gil's. Susan makes it a point to give an evening free to the winner of the darts game, if he would so desire. She's very attractive, and is, indeed, blond.

Tace: The Baron Morgan's magician.

Talathrandir: Silverwood's father. A ranger under Brandywine, he has had some trouble with the Lady Brandywine until he acquired a girlfriend.

Tallie: steward. Married to Joella. The PCs know him only in passing.

Tamerlaine: A bard with unusual powers of "disguise" whom Lady Amelie forced into the assassination plot through the kidnapping of his son. His musical ability is impressive.

Tara: 24. Single woman, neighbor of the PCs. Tara is a very bad judge of men and has two children by different fathers and a third on the way (almost due, in fact) to prove it.

Sir Thomas Knight of the Royal Order of the White Sash: husband of Lady Brigid. The PCs know him only in passing.

Tim of Cormacksville: The kidnapper of Evante Riverwood and Bonaparte Wakeland.

Tory: Mid to late 40s. Kidnapper #8. The leader of the kidnappers. Attacked Espeth and started the whole combat. Took Espeth out of the combat. Knocked out by Shadowhawk the same round and was out for the remainder. Was carrying a map of the Midlands.

Tristan: Silverwood's nephew. He dropped by for a visit after his elopement to introduce Silverwood to his new wife, Mary.

Friar Tuck: The Greenwood Robbers' resident healer and cleric, who, despite the title, is a Priest of Mara.

Ursula: Head of the Baronial rangers. Half-elf.

Vanamiriel: Half-elf female who frequents Gil's.

Sir Adlai Wakeland: 15, son of Lord Nevil Wakeland. Brother of Sir Bonaparte. Adlai blew the whistle on him when Bonaparte failed to show for his elopement.

Lady Arabele Wakeland: Wife of Lord Nevil Wakeland. The PCs know her only in passing.

Sir Bonaparte Wakeland: 17, eldest son of Lord Nevil Wakeland and heir prime. Engaged to girl outside barony, the wedding is set for December 31. However, he is in love with the Dame Evante Riverwood. Ran off with Dame Evante Riverwood and got kidnapped by the guy that was going to pose as her father for their elopement. The PCs rescued him.

Lord Nevil Wakeland: feudal liege of Baron Morgan, lord of Wakeland. He is the father of

Sir Bonaparte, Sir Adlai and 5 other boys.
