Morgan PCs' Futures

Atani:

Atani married Dulinion Carpenter in August of 316. They have two daughters, Lindemir, 22, and Laurelin, 9. Both Atani and Dulinion are still alive and married. He maintains his carpenter shop, she runs a jeweler's shop and also performs occasionally.

Chris:

Had four children with Selena-- twin son and daughter, named Reece and Irene, 24; a daughter, Alysse, 23; a son, Daniel, 21.
Selena was killed 20 years ago at 20 years of age, raped and beaten to death. Chris and Grace went looking for her when she failed to return home after her shift at Gil's Tavern. He found her body, already cool, in an alleyway. So distraught that he couldn't even contemplate that she was dead, he brought the body to Doc Budge, who broke the news to him as gently as he could. Chris spent the next half an hour in stunned silence before rousing himself to find her killer. He headed to Morgan Keep to talk to Tace, the court mage. While he was there, Grace was talking to Doc, learning the awful news that Selena was dead. She met Chris at the Keep moments before he flew off in search of Lorathion to cast the Seeker spell for him and reminded him that Atani, who was in town, could cast the spell as well. The two went to Atani's, where Chris informed her that Selena had been murdered. Atani had him take her to the murder site where she cast the spell and located the murderer. Chris began heading there, but took a side trip to his own house to get his bow and quiver. It was then that it dawned on Grace and Atani what he intended. When they arrived outside the murderer's house, Grace argued against Chris killing the man, insisting that he needed to see proper justice done. Chris seemed to acquiesce, telling Grace to get the Guard before he changed his mind. She dashed off and Chris headed inside the house, with Atani's tacit approval. When Grace arrived with Arkady Gilson and Balthasar Redoak, it was to find the door to the house kicked in, Chris standing wild-eyed, bow in hand staring at a man half in and half out of bed who was filled with arrows. Chris's quiver was completely empty. He turned to Arkady and turned himself in for murder.
The Baron hired Chris and Atani, who was an accessory, the best defense lawyer in the country. It was found to be justifiable homicide.
Chris had to pick up the pieces of his shattered life and be a father to four young children, one less than 4 months old at his mother's death. More importantly, he had to live with the fact that he, who had taken such pride in never having caused a death or supported killing anyone, had killed a man. He was never quite the same.
Chris died 3 years ago at 42. He was at the Keep with his daughter, Irene, when a new colt belonging to the Baron Charles bolted straight toward Lord Robert Morgan's daughter, Maddalena. Chris managed to throw Maddalena out of the way of the horse, but was trampled to death in the process. When Silverwood spoke with him after his death, using a necromantic spell, to find out if he wished to be resurrected, Chris turned the offer down and asked Silverwood to tell the kids that "Selena and I love them very much."
Chris's influence on his children and many "nieces" and "nephews" is still felt. He also has two children named after him-- Robert and Bethany Morgan's second child, a daughter named Christopher, and Espeth's youngest son, named Chris.

Espeth:

Espeth left Morgantown about 20 years ago. It is strongly suspected that he impersonated a slave girl, named Celeste, and under that form was sold to Daly Pleasance and arranged to kill Pleasance and burn the house to the ground, freeing Daly's most recent selection of girls in the process. Celeste has become somewhat of a legend-- the petite, pretty slave-liberator and killer of slavers who is eternally 15 years old.
Espeth was present for the investigation into Shadowhawk's death and his subsequent funeral, and for the funeral of Chris, and for the resurrection of Sirmiriel. Each time he was contacted at Grace's request, who seemed to know his whereabouts fairly well, indicating the two had kept in touch.
Espeth is also known to still associate with Tamerlaine and the two appear to be very intimate. The two have 3 children, though whose is whose is often difficult to determine-- Jesse and Nick are both about 19 and Chris is 8. Espeth claims Chris is his. He may also be the father of one or both of Leilanna's daughters, Araia, 6, and Lothia, 4.

Grace and Shadowhawk:

Grace had a son from an unknown customer fathered on her days before Chris freed her from the slave brothel. He is Adair, 24. She and Shadowhawk married in August of 316 and have 4 biological children-- a son, Gavin, 22; a son, Lysander, 21; a daughter, Elexa, 19; and a son, Tanis, 13. They also adopted Jedidiah Coyefo, one of the Winged Folk children liberated by Ahren Kerus. Jedidiah was 7 when adopted and is now 24.
Shadowhawk died 13 years ago at 33. A few days after the birth of Tanis, Shadowhawk received some news concerning the death of his parents. He told Grace he had some family business to take card of and left for his hometown of Imtier. Grace, being somewhat paranoid, had arranged for Atani to contact him telepathically once a day to be sure he was all right. One night a couple of nights after he had left, Atani contacted him and sensed that he was very tense and was doping some shuriken and staking out a house. Shadowhawk told her he was busy and asked that she contact him in a couple of hours. When she tried later, she got no response. A couple of attempts later, Atani concluded that it wasn't that her spell was failing, it was that he was uncontactable-- either dead or in a mana-drained area.
Atani told Grace, and Grace immediately set off to do something about it. She hoped that he's been captured, and to that end got together all of her friends-- Atani, Lorathion, Espeth, Chris, and Silverwood-- to go to Imtier and rescue him, leaving her children, especially little Tanis, with Yanah, who agreed to stay behind. Once they got there, Lorathion used Seeker to locate Shadowhawk. He'd taken a meat cleaver to the head and been stuffed in a drainage ditch outside of town.
He was dead.
Grace went a little crazy, pulling him out of the drainage ditch, holding his body, asking someone to help. But there was nothing they could do to bring him back. Silverwood said he had a spell to call back Shadowhawk's spirit and ask him what happened. Then, at least, they could get Shadowhawk's murderer. The party was somewhat stunned by this announcement, as Silverwood possessing necromantic spells seemed a little out of character. Grace was also nonplussed by the thought of dealing with Shadowhawk's ghost, but Silverwood assured her that he and he alone would be able to see and hear the spirit.
Silverwood cast the spell, and Shadowhawk told him that his parents were killed by a KKK-style group in Imtier that targets non-Humans. Shadowhawk's family was Human, but refused to join when asked and caused the group some trouble and were eliminated. He had tracked down the ringleaders, and they ambushed and killed him. His murderer was the local butcher.
When the group reached the butcher shop, Lorathion sneaked into the house first, then Chris, then Grace, and then the rest. When they reached the bedroom, Lorathion walked in and Chris stopped in the doorway, blocking Grace's passage. He told her he knows what it was like to kill in anger, and he won't let her do it. She got very upset, and eventually threw the shuriken she carried into the floor. "You can check it...it's sleeping poison," she told him. Chris nodded and let her pass.
The butcher was tied up and interrogated, with Espeth pulling out all the stops when it came to intimidation. When Espeth threatened to slit his throat, he admitted to his crime and Silverwood went to get Lord Avenil Imtier.
Grace and Chris talked later, with him reassuring her that while it may not feel any better now, in the long run it will be better that she didn't kill the butcher.
Grace is now 48 and has become a spokesperson for the Christian People's Abolitionist Foundation.

Lorathion:

Lorathion married Magaskawi in 316. She already had three children-- a boy, Wanahton Lintemacar, 29, and two girls, Anpaytu Galadre, 27, and Kimimela Wilwarin, 26. She and Lorathion had three sons, Ramargolod Chayton, 21; Matoskah Nimbelar, 19; and Lammengul Howahkan, 13.
The two lived in Sothton after their marriage, where she served as town healer. Lorathion's sense of helplessness at the death of Selena, being an hour away from his friends in their time of need, inspired him to create a magical gate between Sothton and Morgantown. It took several years to enchant, but it stands now as free transport between the village the the capitol of Barony Morgan. When Tace retired in late 336, he left the position of Morgan court mage to Lorathion. Lorathion "commuted" to Morgan from his home in Sothton. However, in July of 337, when Robert Morgan the elder became king, Lorathion became his royal court mage and has remained in Blum since, with Wanahton taking over his mother's position as town healer.

Silverwood:

Silverwood was magically induced to father a child on Kay Meretree 25 years ago. She was charged with the illegal use of mind control and rape and was tried and found guilty. Kay and Silverwood's son was born 24 years ago. Silverwood married Sirmiriel in April of 316. He got custody of Forest, his son with Kay, and also had 5 children with Sirmiriel-- Silivrendraugiel, daughter, 23 (11 1/2); Lissiauriel, daughter, 19 (9 1/2); Giliathion, son, 18 (9); Baranthoronion, son, 14 (7); Lanthiriel, daughter, 9 (4 1/2).
Doc Budge retired 19 years ago, leaving the business to Silverwood and Sirmiriel.
On March 3rd of 338, Sirmiriel, Lanthiriel and Silverwood's familiar, a wolf named Geobaldi, were out in the forest nearby Morgantown gathering herbs when they were attacked by Orcs. Sirmiriel took a poisoned arrow to the heart. Geobaldi took one to the hip. In town, Silverwood felt his familiar's wound and, in a panic, left his other children with the mother of the patient he was seeing.
When he arrived at the scene, it was to a half-dozen wolves attacking two Orcs, standing between them and Sirmiriel and Geobaldi. Lanthiriel was nowhere in sight. Silverwood and the wolves quickly offed the two Orcs and then he dashed to the body of his wife. She was already dead. Not thinking straight, he cast Neutralise Poison, several healing spells and began CPR. He only stopped when he began to feel Geobaldi slipping away. He quickly healed Geobaldi. Realisation that Lanthiriel was missing finally hit and he cast a spell to ask the wolves, who were still pacing around him, if there were other Orcs and where the little girl had gone. The wolves indicated there were other Orcs and that the little girl and the Orcs had gone in the same direction, as had some of their number. Silverwood asked them to guard Geobaldi and Sirmiriel and headed in the direction they had indicated.
He reached a place where two Orcs lay dead. A human man, wild-looking and dressed only in skins, sat holding the unconscious Lanthiriel, several wolves pacing around the pair, guarding them. Lanthiriel had taken a blow to the head, but was alive. When Silverwood took her from the wild man, he discovered that the man had taken a deep, wide gash to the belly. Silverwood worked to save him, sealing the wound and neutralising the poison. He quickly lashed together a litter and laid the man and Lanthiriel on it, asking the wolves to pull it for him. They returned to the first battle site, where he made another litter for Sirmiriel. Carrying Geobaldi, surrounded by a dozen other wolves, some dragging the litters with the wild man, Lanthiriel and Sirmiriel, Silverwood headed to Morgantown.
The Guards at the gate dispatched some rangers to look for other Orcs in the raiding party and several members to get the wounded and dead to Silverwood's. The wolves went with him. Word spread quickly throughout the town that Silverwood had entered with a dozen wolves and that his wife and daughter were dead or injured. Hearing the news, his friends quickly gathered, calling Lorathion and Magaskawi from Sothton, and Espeth from nearby where he and Tamerlaine were travelling. Silverwood worked on Sirmiriel long after it was apparent that she was dead. His friends gently pulled him away and informed him it was time to work on getting her back. When he had a moment unobserved, he cast a spell and spoke to her spirit, asking if she wished to return. Sirmiriel stated that she did, but would understand if he could not do it.died 2 years ago, leaving Silverwood to raise the children alone. He is now 80, 40 in terms of maturity.

Yanah:

Yanah married Arkady Gilson. They had 6 children-- a son, 24; a daughter, 21; a son, 20; a daughter, 16; a son, 13; a son, 7. Gil and Livvy died 7 years ago and left the tavern jointly to Rochelle and Arkady. Arkady died 6 years ago at age 44. Yanah is now 50.
