Children's Sunday School Teacher's Online Resources

So, here you are on Monday (or maybe Wednesday or, heaven forbid, Saturday!) looking over your Sunday School materials and, for whatever reason, the crafts and activities just aren't quite right, or require materials you can't get hold of in time (my curriculum has asked probably once a quarter that I provide a shoe box for each child in my class for the craft. With an average of 10 kids in my class, that's 40 pairs of shoes a year! Since I only give myself about a week of lead time on my lesson, that doesn't give me time to scavenge from other members of the congregation, and I don't buy that many shoes), or don't take up quite enough time, or maybe you're doing your lessons from scratch. Whatever the case may be, you find yourself going looking for something else to do. But search engines produce so many results, that it can be hard to sift through and find anything useful. This especially gets frustrating when what you find are pages of links to other pages of links!

A couple years back, that's where I was at, so I started collecting links to useful crafts, pictures and so on in an html document so that I could find them later when that particular Bible story or topic came up in my class. And then it occurred to me that, since other Sunday School teachers would be in the same boat, I ought to put the page up for their use as well.

So, here it is. It's hardly complete. I'm always finding new links to add in. And, of course, sites go down and those links go dead. But, it's my start and I hope you find it useful. If you run across an online craft or picture that suits a Bible story and that is free to use for Sunday Schools and I don't have it linked in here yet, feel free to email me at lcowper@io.com and tell me.
