Experiments With the Psychometricon
Here you see me as I was many years ago. This photo
was taken by a research associate while I was
performing tests on my
invention, the psychometricon. With this device
I hoped to explore new dimensions of consciousness and
understanding. What I was able to determine after
several years of intense study was that spending
time listening to very loud music through headphones while
sitting in a room lit by strobes & colored spotlights
and wearing goggles made from plastic bicycle reflectors
makes you confused.
"I've been thinking ... ," I remarked
to a colleague during one battery of tests.
"I find that hard to believe," he replied.
