Our Virtual Christmas Lights Tour through Johnson City, TX
[click here to skip the narrative and go directly to the pix]Johnson City, Texas, a small town located about 50 miles west of Austin on HWY 290, is best known as being the birthplace of President "LBJ" Johnson, and the current home of Lady Bird Johnson. But when it comes to Christmas, the residents of Johnson City have gone nuts, decorating their homes and businesses with an astounding number of lights. The Blanco County Court House (in Johnson City) is covered with more than 100,000 lights. Not far south down the road, in Blanco, TX, you can see the old courthouse, an equally beautiful building, with lots more lights.
Last year, thousands enjoyed the Christmas images here. This year, we have another 40 or so images for your seasonal perusal, bringing the total to over a hundred images.
