The Alabama Theatre - This $7.5 million, 2,000-seat theater opened its doors in July 1993, at the Barefoot Landing shopping complex in North Myrtle Beach. The nightly American Pride Show, produced by Opryland USA, features a band of seven musicians and 10 singer/dancers performing traditional and contemporary country, pop and blues. The show includes tributes to Elvis Presley and, of course, Alabama. Each week the theater hosts a concert that features top country artists. Beach Ball Classic - This tournament is the nation's premier high school holiday basketball event! Discovering future NCAA and NBA stars is the specialty of the Beach Ball Classic. For more than a decade, the annual basketball tournament has invited future stars from around the country to display their skills in Myrtle Beach.
