The Alabama Theatre - This $7.5 million, 2,000-seat theater opened its doors in July 1993, at the Barefoot Landing shopping complex in North Myrtle Beach. The nightly American Pride Show, produced by Opryland USA, features a band of seven musicians and 10 singer/dancers performing traditional and contemporary country, pop and blues. The show includes tributes to Elvis Presley and, of course, Alabama. Each week the theater hosts a concert that features top country artists.  Beach Ball Classic - This tournament is the nation's premier high school holiday basketball event! Discovering future NCAA and NBA stars is the specialty of the Beach Ball Classic. For more than a decade, the annual basketball tournament has invited future stars from around the country to display their skills in Myrtle Beach. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center will host this year's tournament December 26 - 30.

 The Carolina Opry - The original music variety show on the Grand Strand was opened in 1986 by entertainer and entrepreneur Calvin Gilmore.
