Please note: This page is perpetually under construction. I'll make changes whenever I feel like it and may not note new items.
Right now, there's not much here, as I really haven't been putting too much time into this. However, over time, I intend to add things as 1) I feel like it and 2) I have time.
The other thing about this page is that it gives me something to play with HTML and test various HTML editors/tools on. If you have problems with this or any page with any browser, please send me email about it. Currently I'm using Arachnaphilia (both version 4.0 and 5.1), which I like because it's small and gives me direct access to the HTML code.
In the past, I have worked at Ergo Computing, Phar Lap Software, VenturCom, Inc. and now Altova, Inc. In all cases as some form of Development Support Engineer. I am not currently looking for a job, so my resume has been removed.
Beyond my job, I'm married, my wife Allison is a telecommunications engineer, currently doing contract work through DataTec. This keeps her on the road a good bit, so if anyone is looking for a telecomm/datacomm engineer in the greater Boston area, drop her a line.
In addition to my wife, there are two cats that share our home, Wyoming and Lloyd. In spite of the names, they are both neutered females. Wyoming, more commonly called "Squeak" (because that's what she does), is the younger of the two, and definitely the more active and smarter. Lloyd, more commonly known as "Pudge" is not really that smart. To illustrate this, here are two pictures of Lloyd with her tail in the water bowl. Click the thumbnails to see larger versions.
Pictures of Wyoming (aka Squeak) will be added as soon as I find them.
My primary hobbies are (in no particular order, since it changes day to day), reading, playing with computers, reading, role-playing games, reading, playing with Legos, trying to design the perfect house for myself, my wife, our cats and our 3,000+ books, and, occasionally, reading. (Did I mention that I have a lot of books?)
We had our loft remodeled into a library. To see pictures of the whole thing, including some "before", go here.
