Hajime And Tokio:

There is a fanfiction inspired fan artwork contest going on for this story. If you would like to see the rules, click here. Here are the contest entries for the H&T fanart contest so far:

  • ChiisaiLammy's Hajime and Tokio: What a cute picture. The title couple is hugging. Beautiful shading, and the detail on Tokio's kimono is -excellent-. I love the sad look that she has. (Artist Email: chiisailammy@hotmail.com)
  • S-girl's Hajime and Tokio: The colors in this painting are superb. I find myself entranced by their amber eyes. Hajime looks like he is thinking -evil- thoughts while he pulls Tokio's scarf, don't you think? (Artist Email: sherlgirl@mindspring.com)
  • Misao Mei Mei's Naoya: This one has Naoya standing in front of Snowflake Sweets. And the sign even says "Snowflake Sweets". This picture really makes me smile, especially Naoya's expression. I can imagine her saying "You want to come in -here-? No fucking way!" (Artist Email: elizabeth@passionate-eye.org)
  • LSR_7's Sketch of Okita and Jikiri: How great is this? Just a simple pencil drawing, but still filled with so much expression! Okita must be thinking about jam. Watch out for the kodachis, Okita! (Artist Email: lsr_7@yahoo.com)
  • Tokio Saitou's sketch of a scene from the chapter "Alone in Osaka": This really has cool perspectives in it. I love the little details, Tokio's scarf on the futon, the cat curled up by her bed, the basket on the counter. Saitou has a particularly indescribable look on his face. Hm. Wicked. (Artist Email: tokio_saitou@hotmail.com)
  • SachiAmi's Picture of Jikiri as Nakenashi: Wow. Doesn't that send a shiver up your spine? If you look close, you can see the blood she is hiding in her dark colored hakama. Such a creepy kid, what with her maroon gi and bloody kodachi. Great picture! (Artist Email: spetko@hotmail.com)
  • Kenta Divina's Wolf And Cat: What a cool concept for a drawing, ne? I love the fact that the only "color" is in the eyes of both Saitou and Tokio and the Cat and Wolf. Very simple idea, but very cool. Also love the little smirk on Saitou's lips. Cheeky bugger! (Artist Email: Kentaha@aol.com)
  • Ithilfea's Tokio In Her Wedding Kimono: Oh. Such lovely colors. (Tokio's favorite color, if you noticed from reading H&T, is green!) The shading on the purple of the kimono is -magical-, and the little green leaves are the perfect touch. And, I love the way Tokio is holding on to her neck/collarbone, just as she always tends to do when emotionally -moved-. (Artist email: otakus4eva@yahoo.com)
  • Jbramx2's Hajime and Tokio: It also includes head shots of Okita and Katsu. I adore how well jbramx did on Katsu. She very much does look like her brother, IMHO, angular face, critical eyes. Chuckle. And, oh boy, that look that Saitou is giving Tokio. In my mind he's thinking, "I'm watching you, woman. I know every thought that goes through your mind. But, why does your hair have to smell so good?" (Artist Email: jbramx4@yahoo.com)
  • ChiisaiLammy's vivid painting of Hajime walking away from Tokio really reminds me of the scene where he's leaving for Hokkaido, especially with the moonlight shining down. This is the only picture I've gotten of Tokio -without- her scarf, and boy can you ever see why people might be disturbed by the scar on her neck. The details on Tokio's kimono are so lovely, I want to eat her up like an ice cream. Thank you so much for the picture, CL! (Artist email: chiisailammy@hotmail.com)
  • Some of the pictures are a bit too big for my monitor, so I have shrunk them, as well. They can be viewed in smaller sizes here.

Hot And Cold:

ChiisaiLammy did some sketches of the Hot And Cold costumes, which are -really- quite a treat. I hope you will check out all of her other pictures on her RK fanart page, or email the artist at: chiisailammy@hotmail.com.

  • Kaoru and Meg: Now, I just -love- Meg in this picture. She definitely has the elegance portrayed in the story. And Kaoru's little vest gives her such a great librarian look, don't you think?
  • Kenshin and Sano:Aha. Here are our brave Private Investigators, ready to descend on San Francisco and Fight Crime! I adore Kenshin in this picture, but I have to say that Sano is my favorite of all the H&C sketches she's done. That hat! And the way he has his tie just -draped- over his neck. "Here's Lookin' At You, Kid".
  • Yahiko: I don't think I am going to be able to think of Yahiko without this hat now.
  • An Officer, but probably not a Gentleman: Ahhh. I feel so sorry for Kenshin and the gang when "Officer Taylor" drops onto the scene. Can't you just see him leaning against a wall in a back alley, lighting his cigarette with the brim of his hat low, terrorizing good guys and bad guys alike with his caustic wit? ChiisaiLammy sizzles once again with a chilling portrayal of Saitou. :D

Sundial:

  • This lovely Oekaki painting was done by ChiisaiLammy of Aoshi from Sundial. Check it out! The colors are so brilliant, and I just love how the yellows in the sundial and Aoshi's coat set off the reds in the background. (Or vice versa.) Wonderful, wonderful stuff. ChiisaiLammy is an excellent artist, and you can mail her about her art at: chiisailammy@hotmail.com.
  • THE Copper Sundial: Ever wondered what Shinomori's sundial, as depicted in the story, looks like? Well, here you go.
  • Aoshi and the Decapitated Heads: This is what Angrybee stared at while writing this story. Do you think this might have something to do with Aoshi's insanity?

Random Fun Artwork:

  • A drawing of Angrybee by sherlgirl. I am not sure why I am about to press the Panic Button, but apparently, I should not! I like how I am smoking. Yes! Always smoking. This picture came on a day when I really needed a boots. (artist email: sherlgirl@mindspring.com)
  • Here is a picture of Aoshi which is loosely based off of the character I play in himuragumi. As always, sherlgirl adds in dazzling light effects and enchanting background. She's more than an artist! She tells a story with colors! (artist email: sherlgirl@mindspring.com)
