This deck is built around the theory of "Assamites can't diablerize, so
we'll hafta burn 'em before they get to torpor." With Taste of Death and
Blood Agony, it can do a fair amount of aggravated damage. With Blurs
and Flashes, the Assamites can go to range, stick a 7 capacity vampire
with 2 Blood Sweats and a Taste of Death, instantly burning him. In
close, The Khabar: Honor gives a terrific boost for hand damage (+3 hand
damage if that character has a contract from the Assamite), together
with Blood Agony, that's 4 aggravated in close.
Some cards are in there just because they are really great, like Dreams
of the Sphinx and Tomb of Ramses III. Clan Impersonations are in there
so that Akram and and Cornelius into Assamites, so that they can benefit
from the Path of Blood. All in all, it's a very solid deck, that rivals
the damage causing ability of a good Tremere Press deck, with the
functionality of a Brujah Rush deck, with a little bit of stealth to
give that extra push if the opponent likes to Strike: Combat Ends or Strike:
Dodge.
Deck designed by Assamite (assamite@inlink.com).
