The Points System for Vampires

In rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad, a hypothetical "point system" is often referenced. Supposedly, most vampires in the Jyhad cardset follow the point system in determing their capacity for abilities. The following rubric describes what players have determined of the point system.

Number of points for vampire= capacity (-1 if under 5, +1 if over 8) + point value of drawbacks (if any).

Disciplines: Basic= 1 pt. Superior= 2 pts.

Titles: 1/2 pt for primogen, 1 for prince, 3/2 for Justicar, 2 for Inner Circle (based off of the @ vote = 1/2 pt system), 1 for '2 votes'. Nosferatu and Gangrel paid 1/2 more points for titles in the basic set and perhaps in the expansions as well... Large Ventrue seem to get Primogen free, if they have no other title.

+1 bleed and +1 hand damage are 2 pts @.

Clan specific bleed or hand damage is free.

+1 stealth was 2 pts for Lucretia, and 1 pt @ for Muaziz and Rebekka (this seems undercosted).

No Bloodhunt votes for this vampire is apparently 1 pt (this seems undercosted).

One can generally extrapolate from the system listed about what the presumed costs of the less common powers are. For instance, Gunther seems to pay 2 pts for his untap ability, while Masika pays 2 and 1/2. Anneke pays 1/2 for being able to block any actions after others fail. You get the idea.

As for Drawbacks, look at the number of points the 1 capcity caitiff has who has it; that's the number of points it's supposedly worth. Of course, some drawbacks (like Uriah winter's), are a lot more painful in play than others.
